I’ve actually thought this season has been wildly healthy. We haven’t lost anyone to season ending injury and we haven’t had multiple players unavailable at the same time, that’s pretty good! I think we’ve been quite fortunate Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

We had players like David Moretti on campus and let them leave without an offer. I guess we didn’t need a 92% free throw shooter and 46% 3 point shooter Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

(2021) PF Caleb Furst to Purdue

It would be unfortunate not to get any of them but if it leaning that way Archie and staff need to have a good fee for that and work on a series of other options Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

It is intolerable to see fans that never post only come on to bash people, you are the true fan I suppose, smh. You took that post for what you wanted it to be so you could bash Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
I get what you are saying. Wisconsin isn’t a bad team but in all fairness, they are compared to Wisconsin teams of the past 10 years. This years team is improving and may end up really good but they don’t have the typical pieces they usually do Point being, while still a difficult place to play, it’s no longer an impossible feat to win at the Kohl center. There is still no excuse for getting blown out of the gym no matter whether they are good or bad Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I don’t think that was the issue. It wasn’t losing to Wisconsin or at Wisconsin it was the way we did it, with zero heart and little to no visible adjustments - we got destroyed Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Well, the schools could make it it pretty uncomfortable for coaches when they come if they want to. I went to Homestead and cannot imagine my high school self allowing Painter and Izzo etc to come into our gym without letting them know they weren’t wanted there Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Hunter is the better player. No need to play 11 and Anderson, while better than last year still isn’t ready Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

I was bummed that RMK didn’t show but I would take this win over RMK and a loss. I was just greedy looking for both Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

It would be a welcomed change for us to pick up some late wins and some momentum in the bigten tourney this time:) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

How does that do that? Smith is 6’7” and plays the 3. Hunter is 6’7” and would be moving to the 3 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Brunk is one of the best players we have. Very level headed and consistent. That’s not a wise move Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Every coach and team goes through a rough patch, it’s how they respond. Iu didn’t respond last year. If holtmann goes 1-6 in his next 7 like IU did last season he is going to understand what a real pressure cooker is Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

40 minutes of effort goes a long way! Loved this game - easy to say after a 12 point win but it wasn’t the win that was awesome, it was the hustle and effort that made that possible Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Right, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to go to the NCAA tourney the past few years Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Would love to see out better players do this or close to it. These guys are in their health prime, no reason TJD, a healthy Phinisee etc can’t play 35 minutes Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Thank you - very much in line with what I’ve been saying but this backs it up nicely. Iu fans are not the problem, this type of activity is normal anywhere there are people that care. Crazy OSU turned into pressure cooker so fast for Holtmann, IU fans at least have Archie 2.5 years before this talk began. Meanwhile Holtmann takes his first team to the tourney and has his second team ranked and yet the fans are turning on him. He has a tighter leash at OSU than Archie does at IU. IU will put up with a lot more before they make a move Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

You had me until number 3. As we go through shitty season after shitty season the fans are the most consistent and supportive thing we have. We had one of the highest season attendance of any school in the country after a 6 win season. We’re not of a different species where we think and act so differently then every other fanbase, while dwindling daily, there are just a lot of us which is a great thing that makes us special. If Jordan and Holtmann think the fan bases as OSU and Butler wouldn’t be concerned and questioning them after missing the tourney in their first, second and very realistically third season on the job they are kidding themselves. OSU has no problem firing anyone Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
