A system indicates there is process and I don’t see that. I’ve been asking since year 1, what is our offense supposed to look like? People have made excuses about lack of shooters and Crean’s leftover players but he’s had time to get a few key pieces in there and hasn’t done it. I haven’t read the thread and don’t want to given the outcome but wanted to say this. Green playing crazy, selfish hero ball and not getting it into the bigs and moving the ball has to stop. One time it’s on him, after that it’s on the staff. Get him out as soon as it starts and sit him until the next game. I think we are like a DJ Carton away from being in the hunt. I don’t think he makes us an odds on favorite or anything but I do think he adds a bit to our team this year and could be the difference between being bounced early and making a run. Something else I heard from this coach/committee person in a different conversation that you reminded me of when reading your comments about Pitino: You likely know this but I didn’t, Knight, not only was “bigger than the athletic department/the school” from the outside perspective but also in his own mind too. He was verbally abusive to others in the athletic department and lived by his own rules which were essentially none. The AD would call an all coaches meeting and he would be the only one missing. So while I hate the fact that the school and administrators went sooooo far in the opposite direction and in doing so kind of destroyed the basketball program, I do see how they felt they had dealt with this before and didn’t want to repeat it again with the likes of Pitino Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

My man is Chris Reynolds too because I know he would never do anything to hurt the basketball program. So, I agree with what you typed but I do know as a fact that many of those people you listed want Dolson. You have little to nothing to argue a point with here. Seems more that you are just negative on this kid and anyone that supports him. He put up almost twice as many points at Montgomery while shooting a higher percentage than Montgomery and they guarded each other. More importantly than any of that, his team won the game. It’s going to be Dolson - the committee all like him. Not saying it is a popularity contest only but I think having worked and been around the guy for year in many cases, they feel comfortable and will make a somewhat comfortable choice. I don’t like a class where this kid is one that is asked/expected to play right away but if we already have 2 kids that we feel are that, maybe 4* and 5* players already locked up, let’s grab him. A kid that will get good grades, stay out of trouble and bust his butt in practice and makes the most of his minutes when he gets them, that sounds great Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I asked because I was curious and believed all the ranked bigten teams had a tougher SOS and then didn’t wait for a reply and looked it up, only to find it was way worse than I thought and that our SOS is worst in the conference by far, only Northwestern being in the same ball park. The schedules in bigten play are different but nowhere near as contrasting as the out of conference schedules.
