I would prefer the hall vs a neutral court but when it comes down to neutral or nothing there is nothing to debate. Playing in Indy is great and them asking for tickets is pretty normal, every team gets tickets for away/neutral games. The fact is, we wanted to keep it a home and home and they wanted neutral locations and even offered our state capital as the location. It’s really about control and politics which is sad. I’m in the camp of hoping for a healthy rob Phinisee so we can see what we really have. I have no doubts he has been hampered by injuries his freshmen and sophomore seasons but it’s not uncommon to suffer a concussion and I really don’t even know what exactly is ailments were his sophomore season that would allow him another pass. To think he is a championship caliber point guard is beyond me. I have no idea what he has shown to prove that. He has had a few good games in his two seasons, and even those good games he wasn’t anywhere near all-Bigten level or anywhere close to it. He has a long way to go to be an obvious starter let alone a championship level point guard. Right, I don’t see them doing that but I think it would help his chances of being taken seriously. If he went to a Pike, Carmel, Bloomington South, idk, he would have a chance to play against quality players and teams every week and if he outplayed those kids it would boost his stock.
