If you come into a game and in 5 minutes go 0-2 with two turnovers then it’s hard to validate continuing to put him back in. Talent trumps getting old and staying old and I hate that saying, woof. The BigTen is always competitive but rarely produces elite teams because the talent is not there. Savvy veterans are good and all but the proof is in the pudding and the BIGTEN doesn’t win championships. We produce good, rarely great teams. Exactly. This is some legit stuff. If the ncaa knows all of this and doesn’t drop the hammer it will send the message that it’s open season and there is nothing to fear in terms of cheating. At a minimum they have to vacate wins, lose scholarships, be banned from post season for some period of time and give Self a year year show cause.
