Lol Happy New Year
-
-
True. Just shows the patience and stupidity of our AD first with the extension and not doing it sooner.
-
It’s a message board so opinions are accepted including yours even if misinformed. If you knew of our history in finding coaches you would know about our search firms and Eddie Fogler and buy outs. Alford won’t make it to his and may not make it until the new year.
-
Eddie Fogler. Google what he does then get educated on the process. Alford will be out long before April 30 as I’m sure he wants out as bad as UCLA does. He prob settles in the 2 mil range my guess. UCLA will announce their new coach as soon as his team exits the tournament.
-
Obviously, you don’t understand how most coaching vacancies get filled. UCLA already knows there will be an opening. They get a head start regardless of when Alford resigns or gets fired. Dead man walking.

(2019) SG Armaan Franklin to IU
schoosier replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I admire any of our posters who officiate, and working local games at a few $ per game. So getting clocked by players, coaches, parents, and fans are probably not high on their lists. But big time officiating sucks from the college football and basketball games I have seen recently. College b-ball should go to 6 fouls and the replay rules at least keeps football in check. Before IU just got screwed by TV Teddy and Hightower because of Knight. Now, it seems they all are horrible. I would soon like to see Arc get T’d up to see how are team responds. If not, how are we ever gonna start getting respect? -
(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
schoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
These are my thoughts also. It’s good to think of what ifs, but no way does Romeo come back. When you recruit and land these top 5 star players, the only way you get over them going to the league is to recruit and sign more of the same. Romeo has a lot more to give in his one and only year at IU. I just hope he can start dominating games so we can have the best outcome for our team. -
He done.

(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky
schoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I compared his game to KD after seeing tape and some didn’t agree until Texas started recruiting as KD. I also thought Romeo would get 25 per. You shoot your shot and all of us miss; some just take it like life or death. I do think if Romeo carried us more at that clip we would be at our best. Both are Indiana NBA ballers. -
If we were to leave Adidas. Who is your pick?

Lol I had a pair first addition and traded them for a nostalgic college plaque. I remember one of the air sacks in the tongue wouldn’t stay inflated. -

This is not one of his finer moments, but part of his legacy. The library and his other philanthropic gestures are also part of it. On the court he was second to none.

I know of one instance where he told Connie Chung in an interview if you knew you were gonna get raped you might as well lay back and enjoy it. President Ehrlich reprimanded him, Knight flirted with Arizona St, and the students marched on the Presidents home hanging him in effigy. I believe this was the summer after our last NC as I was still a student at IU. The president backed off, and a lot of trustees began plotting his demise culminating in hiring the worst leader IU has ever known. Soon to be followed by two more losers. How’s that in a nutshell?

Congratulations Juwan! Only 2 players in your club. -
RIP - Terry Hutchens - 1958-2018

RIP Terry. Wasn’t his last article written about former Hoosiers passing too soon? It’s sad he needs to be added to the list. -
He could not sustain a Mac program to keep his job. I stated on another thread he had Bob Knight syndrome and another poster thru out libel. Suppressing opinions doesn’t work on BTown. I don’t think he’s an IU ambassador and I don’t listen to him. But to each his own.

Are you our legal representation here? If so you may want to check what’s been said about a lot of our former coaches. Does that not fit the narrative or your opinion? -

He has the Bob Knight syndrome against IU but won’t publicly say it. Let’s just say I’m not a fan. -
IUBB vs Central Arkansas - 12/19 @ 7:00
schoosier replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Green made a good decision where he didn’t jack a 3 and waited to set up the offense last night. Hopefully, more good decisions will come. It appears we’re going to need him to continue to step it up. -

This is not Durham’s best game unfortunately. He can’t throw it in the ocean and just tripped McBob in the fast break. He’s struggling with his shot and Greens gonna get those minutes. Green just needs to take care of the ball better. -

I like Davis and Fitzner getting extended minutes. This will help in Big play. -

Smith has bad hands only because he doesn’t look at the ball or tries to catch it one handed. It’s just very sloppy play. -
(2021) G Luke Brown to Ball State
schoosier replied to HoosierCoop's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
That’s how Jay County played over 30 years ago. Some things never change lol. As far as Brown, he definitely has skills and passes at an elite level. Locking down the borders also includes elite shooters that can help win championships. I sure wouldn’t mind adding a couple just like him. Indiana has always been know for shooting; I will trust Archie on who gets the schollies. -
