  1. Coach really sacked it up putting both Romeo and Juwan back in the game. It was the right call with limited options. The injuries cost us any chance of legitimately winning the game. We need both Rob and Deron back ASAP.
  2. We were really short handed so I am satisfied with this outcome. We didn’t give up, but we’re outmatched without more post players. I can’t ever remember seeing a hook utilized by a point guard so effectively. On to the next game and hope we get healthier soon.
  3. Guess who just gave his trademark blow by handshake? Tenn 2nd largest SEC win in program history. The honeymoons over in Athens lol.
  4. I remember a player who was on the 81 team from Tech who had some problems with our legendary coach. Some questioned his attitude and work ethic. His play late was a game changer and was instrumental in that team’s success. Combined with I Thomas, Tolbert, wittman and Kitchel, J Thomas; they absolutely destroyed teams in the tournament. If TDJ works at it and is coachable; maybe we can have a similar result.
  5. Anyone else notice the overhead lights flickering on the floor when Minn gets the ball? A little home cooking to go with the officials and usual hack and grab defense. They may be at the top of my most hated Big teams.
  6. This Scruggs kid from Indy is a player and could help us this year. Unfortunately, he was recruited during the outside and further approach.
  7. I would move Romeo to point and start McBob while Green is first off the bench at guard. He just doesn’t add anything but turnovers, poor shots, and careless dribbling. He’s playing better d but has a horrible IQ. When his shot isn’t falling, he adds nothing.
  8. Coach gave Green the gold jersey. And he played like he always does out of control. He has thrown up at least 4 wild shots underneath to not draw iron. Without Rob Arch can’t sit him for extended minutes.
  9. You can’t defend Romeo when he has the ball. I like seeing him up top creating and doing a nice job at point handling the ball.
  10. Romeo is getting mugged. I think Arch said something about it.
  11. Shot clock violation. How important is Rob vs Green?
  12. Greens gonna get his. Plus if McBob gotta create shots were in trouble.
  13. We just can’t get off to fast start ever. It’s like we need to get smacked before we start playing hard.
  14. Exploiting our lack of inside size which will be a recipe for our other Big opponents. Davis is gonna be so important moving forward.
  15. Has IU offered? Arch seems to be slow playing this class so he may be looking at his outside approach here.
  16. Davis certainly becomes more important for us as the season progresses. If he or Morgan gets in foul trouble, who do we have to stop either. Hopefully Arch starts getting our other two bigs more minutes very soon.
  17. Arch should put that one in his pocket. Nice play but the pass was short.
  18. Fun watching 2 really good teams battling. Both Maryland and Neb has some talented players and will be tough to beat. We should be 3-0 going into Mich but Romeo has to be big if we go big.
  19. I agree Arch needs to be scouting the Hyper. Green’s importance just went up exponentially, and a reporter mentioned he got the gold jersey this week. Coach is doing his job to get past Devonte’s slow start by saying I got confidence in you. Let’s see how he plays the next 2 games.
  20. I believe our football players are regularly getting concussed because it’s the nature of the sport. Based on Rob’s hit, you would think we would have trouble fielding a team. Unless their protocol is different. Rob continued to play before coming out. I’m not making light of his injury, but according to Arch he hasn’t practiced any with the team?
  21. I hate this for Rob and Race, and I find the disparity in concussion protocol changes from school to school or various sports. Notre Dame’s stud cornerback came out against Clemson for what the head coach said was concussion protocol yet he played in the second half. How could he have played based on the head coach’s statement?
  22. I played against him in high school and did not like him. He avg 39 before the 3 point shot; I held him to 44 his senior year. He was $ at IU so I will remember and thank him for what he did for our school. I think he had a decent record against Knight at Iowa but never got over the hurdle. I always want him to do well and thought he should have been hired before Davis or Sampson. His big chance came at UCLA and has had a record worthy of extensions at most schools. He will get another chance in a power 5 conference and I wish him the best. Banner 5 wouldn’t be there without his huge contributions to that team and Indiana University.
  23. Eddie Fogler. Google what he does then get educated on the process. Alford will be out long before April 30 as I’m sure he wants out as bad as UCLA does. He prob settles in the 2 mil range my guess. UCLA will announce their new coach as soon as his team exits the tournament. Reread, obv I was referring to their new coach. Unless they pull a flier, Steve’s replacement will be in this tournament.
