Lol I want to pile on but will withhold today in the Christmas spirit. Plus we have Archie and a future full of Hoosier heroes repping IU to be thankful. Thanks Santa.

The great memories come back for all of us too. For me to see Keith and Vic coming back home is truly a special game. How could any top prospect say no to this program? It continues to go up and up and I am enjoying watching Archie and team get us to the top. edit. Is that Noah Vonleh far right?

We used our last timeout and Butler kinda figured it was going to Romeo like everyone else. Coach may want to draw up a double screen next time as Romeo coming to the ball wont work. Rob bailed us out.

RP has won at least 3 or 4 games with big shots. He’s just a gamer.

This looks like Louisville game except Romeo not playing well. Let’s see if we can find a way to win even with the turnovers.

Leadership on the court is lacking. Someone needs to be kicking butt with our effort on 3 defense.

This is where the coach comes into play. Arch has to keep letting the refs know what they’re doing. I will say I like where we ended the half only 4 down. I think Butler has played well while we haven’t.

Butler reminds me of Wisconsin. They don’t beat themselves and they are always grabbing and holding. Time for this Hoosier team to start beating both teams.

Smith just does not play smart b-ball.

We’re giving good effort on D, but the sloppy offensive play is killing us.

If we don’t let them hit a ton of 3’s, I think we win this one going away. We have our rotation and our play is continuing to get better.

I would like to see McDermott play well as he reps my alma mater and came back from a near fatal illness in high school. I would also like to see us win going away.

He has been a pleasant surprise with his shot and more of a cerebral player which is a big plus. He has decent size to combo and can be a steadying force moving forward.

Year before he had to fire him Glass was breaking down his offense. There is no doubt he was a fan and mainly why I’m not his.

I never liked Crean as I’m sure everyone is shocked. I knew it would end badly after his cheerleading impersonation after beating IL at home year 2 or 3. I won’t go into the weirdness, coach speak crap, or his total inability to take 6, 1000 pt scorers on 1 team to a final four. He was way in over his head and he figured it out when he heard 17k fans collectively boo his in game decisions. Good luck Tom at UGA; I think you will need it. Archie can coach just look at Dayton. He can recruit and high school coaches like him. He played the game and didn’t wash jock straps to climb the ladder. He wasn’t in my tier one group but was near the top of tier 2. If he can keep bringing in the local talent combined with some outside studs, I think he can hang banners.

We got our first one in about 7 years with Romeo. Now TDJ is the front runner since KB is at LL, so let’s keep this Hoosier train rolling. Getting the best in state players will get banners sprinkled in with surrounding talent.

RIP Eric. He had a competitive spirit on the court and didn’t back down from anybody. My sympathies go out to his family.

I believe the men’s team stole it from the woman’s team during Pearl’s cheating tenure. Pat Summit started using it during her hall of fame career and also started using Carolina Blue in their colors. Probably started in late 70’s or early 80’s.

We are infinitely better a point guard also. RP won our last two games with clutch shots. He had 5/6 defensive rebounds also with one turnover and 30 minutes. Production in very important games.

He is a very well spoken young man. He would make us all proud to rep IU and hope he pulls the trigger ASAP!

He would be starting for us this year no doubt. A lot of our returners are gonna have to get a lot better as Brooks is very versatile.
