if he's getting 70% of the budget, then he would definitely be getting the keys to the one man show. Guess we'll see how much he enjoys losing by himself.

Any chance he reconsiders now? ND finished under .500 this year and we replaced our deadbeat coach. Might be worth a call.

I would think coming in with a coach in his first year isn't the riskiest thing to do given that coaches usually get a few years before the hot seat no matter what. A bit riskier than being on a program that is rolling along but I'm sure he would be getting a raise to entice him to accept a little more risk.
