Zoom out people. I get that you’re upset your cubicle neighbor and Purdue cousin are going to give you crap for this loss and that upsets you. I also get that this loss is one game in the first of many seasons under a new head coach. Bailout now if you aren’t ready for some bumps in the road, otherwise buckle up! Like I said, glad I didn’t watch. Lol... This sucks, but this literally does not surprise me. This team is still weak mentally. Notre Dame was their potential, this is their worst, but closer to their reality. Still expect us to play well in January, and even better in February and March (wherever that may be). Billy Donovan Romeo Langford package deal to Louisville, Indiana post season ban because life sucks and woe is me Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando BtownBanners -
Guys, Archie was hired March 25th. Less than 9 months ago. Holy hell, go bury your head in the snow like an ostrich till you cool off. 1) I actually agree that on paper, this team has enough talent to make the tournament. I think in reality, most of our “leaders” have not lived up to their paper talent, and the pieces don’t mesh as well as they should. That said, there’s plenty more basketball to be played, and I expect Archie to have the guys playing their best at the end of the season. So yes, I’m saying there’s a chance! 2) New offense and defense is going to reduce the effectiveness of paper talent as they learn how to execute. This also required a great deal of erasing old lessons and habits. Regardless, can we all take a season to breath? We just fired the guy who (sadly) put together the most successful stretch of IU basketball since the early 90’s. Archie wasn’t going to walk-in and win a National Championship or even win at an acceptable level with the same (but actually worse) team that lost to Josh Pastner in the first round of the NIT. Anyone who believed otherwise let their excitement over Crean’s firing get the best of them. Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando BtownBanners

You post some of the least intelligent things I’ve read on this board, and that includes “five thugs at once” and some drunk rants from Natty. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

No offense Wayne, but I don’t think you’ve ever really read or listened to anything about any recruits that’s ever made you think it was pro-IU. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Im not disappointed at all. I expected very little from the team that didn’t gain a real PG and lost NBA talent coming into this year. Serious progress has been made all season. This team was in it till the end in one of the tougher road environments. Today is dark, but the future is bright. Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando BtownBanners -

Yeah, Wayne, I’ll say I think that’s a bit of revisionist history. Romeo and family didn’t exactly mesh with Calipari, especially after Egypt. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Love this. We really need the Ws from our non-con schedule with the gauntlet the B1G handed us, but I’d rather see us playing top programs and building a strong foundation and excitement, even if it means we don’t get to go to the Ford Fiesta Fiesty Fighters Football Bowl Game brought to you by Chipotle Mexican Grill. Guess what? Texas A&M is in Texas. You know what else is there? Ridiculous passion for football, tons of boosters demanding football improvements, and grassroots talent to recruit locally. The above is true in Indiana for basketball, and really none are true for football. No excuses, just reasons. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Do you think those standards have been raised? Also, this will be difficult for you, but Old Friend laid it out pretty clearly... AD’s don’t need to know “sports”. They have way more complex things to worry about. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Not exactly an available option. It was Moore or someone else once CAM got here. I like Moore’s potential. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
