  1. Why the hell would we want anyone decommitting from a program that has clearly paid them? Stay clear. Let Vandy/KU/Duke/Uk have him. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  2. Don’t be so sensitive Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  3. Easy not to worry if you just ignore the avalanche of signs Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. Yup, there are plenty of perfectly innocent reasons. I think the questions was whether this hurts our chances as an Adidas program. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  5. Depends why he made the change. Is it because Nike asked him to, or because of another reason? Shoe company influence only exists if the recruit wants to play along. Don’t know why you wouldn’t tho. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  6. So... you agree with me. Great! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  7. The college basketball you recognize is a sham. It could be something better, but there will be growing pains from a reset. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  8. I’m gonna go ahead and get my annual mod warning... Bailey, you’re an idiot. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  9. Duke Compliance: Hello, Coach? Yeah, hi... In light of today's report we'd like to revie... Coach K: I, Michael RatFace Krzyzewski, Patron Saint of College Basketball, and known Second Son of God, have never done anything wrong. Now leave my throne room, peasant. Duke Compliance: Sir, this is an office, and why are you wearing a crown? Coach K: ...
  10. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Coach K is a scumbag.
  11. Everyone is beautiful to somebody.
  12. Scrubbed... probably not the best word choice.
  13. And people are upset I’m calling out any questionable statements of fact on here. We’re about to have 300 posts about his jersey number being wrong. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  14. I wouldn’t blame the kids or families. If every school that makes sense for a kid is out there offering cash, and IU isn’t... well... I’d say odds are good we know what is going to happen. I don’t want to end up seeming like a sore loser, but if Vandy does land him, I won’t be able to stop my suspicions. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  15. You mean where I asked if they were because a list of top schools that include Louisville, Kansas, and Vandy is highly suspect given the current events in college basketball? I was and continue to be slightly suspect of the recruitment because of these factors, but I also willingly believe the Langfords are a great family! I have no problem with you questioning my line of thought and the assumptions I make. I also don’t say, “I know this recruitment is shady, and the Langfords are taking bribes,” because I have zero evidence of that. Only context clues and questions. 16. We're all good, coonhounds. Just trying to do some fact checking to figure out what's what and who I can trust.
  17. The dreaded walking boot gets everyone eventually, coonhound! Basketball players and message board posters alike! I don't have anything against Yogi personally, I just think he established some credibility so that when he posts in the manner he does ("I know"), it is taken more seriously. This thread is already off the rails as it is, but it'd be nice if there was some semblance of reliability to the board. I vented my frustrations about other posters' habits as well. Back in the day, I think 41, mdn, and others were more active in vetting "sourced" posters so there wasn't mass hysteria every time a Indiana Guy posted "Romeo to IU, trust me" or an ibm728 posted "It's over".
  18. It's free - I'm also allowed to question it. What's valuable about misinformation?
  19. These are your words: "Rabjohns report seems to be true. I don't know exactly what he is saying, but I know Romeo is wanting to have his decision done around March 10th and then giving it a week or two to make sure he feels right about it." How do you know that? You're now saying you're just making assumptions, but you say things like they're factual. If you can't see why that's confusing/annoying, I'll drop it.
  20. No offense to you at all, but I think there might be a bit more (money) on the line for someone of Romeo's talent. Definitely muddies up the decision making process.
  21. You’ve stated that anyone saying they know anything is misinformed or lying because the Langfords are playing this as close to the chest as any recruitment out there, yet you know Romeo wants to make a decision by March 10th. These two statements don’t jive. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  22. What's shameful is how much you're letting the decisions of a teenager playing a sport impact your life. It's really embarrassing witnessing grow adults throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way.
  23. Can we nominate others who make this thread an exercise in misery? Sort tired of reading Romeo to IU book it and alpha dog and anchors down every other post. Dbm is getting on more people’s nerves for repeating an outcome no one wants, but it’s no less annoying than repeating the same positive thing over and over. 24. “It’d be cool to play with other great players” Compare the projected 2018-2019 rosters of IU and Vandy, and then decide if you think that applies to one school or another. Also, consider the unwritten question that probably preceded that answer. Probably something along the lines of, “does the idea of playing with two other great players in Darius and Simmi excite you?” “Yes, playing with other great players is very exciting.” “Do you like eating great food?” “Yes, eating great food is very exciting.” Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando BtownBanners
