In your shortsighted opinion, maybe you are correct. Although, that’s tough to justify since our basketball program won multiple B1G Championships and went to multiple Sweet Sixteens in the last 5 years with a less than adequate coach, has now hired one of the premier young coaches in the country, and our football team went to back to back bowl games for the first time since 1992. I agree rebounding was poor, but rebounding isn’t the core issues this team faces and I don’t want to waste Race’s redshirt to fix a secondary problem. I seriously don’t know what you all expected. I warned early on that a coach wasn’t going to fix all of the turnover, defense, and PG issues. I’m disappointed by how bad this was, but not shocked. This is the same BAD team from last year, less a few NBA players with no immediate impact additions. Get ready to hate this season. Also, Freddie needs more minutes. Like what he’s doing. Regardless of what happens, if Archie has us as final contenders for TWO top 15 players in 6 short months of recruiting... we're in for a treat next year and for many years to come.

The Crystal Ball encourages pickers to make the right selection as far out from the announcement date as possible. I believe they also lock it down 24 hours or so before the pick? That may have been an old feature since removed with the scoring structure. In short, I'd expect Meyer to hold to his pick, but I also believe all of the Crystal Ball picks are relying on the analysts own reasoning more so than real tangible sourced information with this recruitment.
