  1. I don't much care for the product on the court, and at least a fair amount of blame has to be laid at the feet of CDD. Still, there's less than a zero percent chance he's relieved of duties at the end of the season. Perhaps better talent, greater athleticism, and another year of implementing his brand of basketball will allow CDD to turn around the program. But I'm guessing it won't.
  2. Giving up the baseline, again and again and again, was criminal. Launching three, after three after three, instead of working it inside to Alexis, or driving it with Conerway, is just sh*tty game management by the coach. Lately, Tucker looks a lot like a tubby drunk on the court, insistent on making excuses for missed shots while he waits on the next round to arrive.
  3. After tonight, Dolson needs to seriously think about the direction of this program. I realize the situation Devries inherited was dire, but this team is not without talent, and the mistakes they made tonight are the same mistakes they've made all season. Poor fundamentals, excessive dribbling, excessive reliance on the three point shot, questionable combinations on the floor, questionable game management. Periodically hot shooting has been the only thing covering up a multitude of sins.
  4. These are all dead leg shots they're taking.
  5. No stats to back this up, just my opinion, but having watched about 75% of IU's games this year, I can't see that they're appreciably better than they were in December. They look gassed on both ends of the court, and the defense, what there is of it, is painful to watch.
  6. And continuity wins out, as I suspected it would. I'm guessing Tino will stay here a while now.
  7. I think Cig's criteria is going to come down to staff continuity, (Tino), versus NFL level tutelage being a drawing card for recruits. I have to wonder what, if any impact this has on Hoover.
  8. When might tickets to specific games go on sale?
  9. What a complete ****** canoe. I can't imagine why he doesn't get top end talent to come play for him.
  10. "Notre Dame football, brought to you by, Kotex!, Kotex, poviding comfort and protection to the Notre Dame women's football team, one period at a time!"
  11. But in other news; any rumors as to who might be transferring next to IU?
  12. What is everyone's favorite source for IU apparel these days?
  13. I still wake up in the morning and check online to confirm they really did win a natty!
  14. I see where Miami is losing their RB2, Freshman Girard Pringle to the portal. Ran a 4.22 40, and was a 4 star recruit. Averaged over 6 yds a carry in limited action this past year.
  15. Has anyone seen, or does anyone know where the tweet is that has two guys disrespecting IU as having bought their championship, or are certainly "not" a fantasy come true?
  16. He reminds me a LOT of Antoine Winfield.
  17. If Day thought the seat under his a$$ was hot last year after two straight losses, just wait till he loses to IU this year.
  18. You're right. That was five minutes of excellent oratory, perfectly describing the bond between school, coaches, team, and fan base. Lots of hope for future greatness in football but this team and players will always be uniquely special.
  19. One of the enjoyable things about winning a natty is reliving the great moments of the game, forever, on YouTube. One of the annoying things is listening to various pundits providing postmortem assessments that to me sound short sighted and dumb. Since Monday night, I've heard: * IU benefitted greatly from Cuban's backing * Had older, more experienced players * Will never duplicate what they did this year * Gamed the system * Got lucky bounces * Still isn't a destination for most 4 and 5 star recruits * Gives hope to every school in the America that they too, can win a natty. What utter BS. While bits and pieces of the above may be true, we won it all because we have the best coach in college football, aided by an outstanding set of assistants, led by a great AD and President, and forged by putting together precise measures of brains, passion, athleticism, desire, grit, and determination. I don't see anyone else pulling off what we did this year, unless it's us again.
  20. This will never, ever, ever, get old.
  21. I'm sure there's a logical reason for it, but in reviewing all the gear and merchandise that's come out in the last 12 hours, about 60% say Indiana Hoosiers, National Champions 2025. About 40% say 2026.
