I’m watching on delay…don’t tell LCS, but I’m about ready to join the Leal over Gunn bandwagon. Gunn needs to go re-watch his defensive tape from the Michigan game, and just make that his focus. I think the sample size is big enough now, he’s not a shooter. But He’s also suddenly getting beat immediately off 1 dribble…no bueno. Banks looking a lot like Geronimo 2.0. If his basketball skills could catch up to his athleticism, he’d he tough. Right now he can’t guard without fouling, and needs to be a slashing guy only on offense. Reneau is going to make a lot of money playing basketball somewhere. Keep the splash brother vibes going the rest of the season and that will help tremendously

People have commented, but I really do think Walker (both on the court, on the bench and off the court), is more of an asset to this team than we could have imagined. I’ve been told he is as nice of a kid as you’ll ever meet, always smiling and in a good mood, a real student of the game and a heck of a hard worker. Perfect seasoned vet who can be a spark off the bench and a role model for the younger guys.

I loved his second answer on NIL... Said we won't have the same resources that other top teams have, but that wont be detrimental...said he would love to see the price tag of the top guys compared to their production...it's all abut how you evaluate and develop kids...his worst transfers at JMU were power 5 kids, best were FSC kids. We won't likely ever compete with the big schools for NIL dollars...but Coach Cig is making no excuses....

He brings a high level of expectation and winning mindset, and is expressing it for all to hear, with confidence...what that does for a locker room and a team is huge. Change the culture, change the mindset..."High standard, high expectation, high accountability". Anddd I just ran through the wall.
