In annual news, Anderson Varejao is out for the season.

The Pistons waived Josh Smith using the stretch provision, lol.

Kind of a double thing for me. Basically I'm working at a warehouse right now (5 months), and starting at the end of next week they are most likely going to be making massive cuts. I feel good about my chances about making it over the hump and staying on, but prayers would be appreciated. Adding onto that, I had to leave work early last night, got sick twice, discovered I had a temperature as well. Basically I wasn't even able to keep down anything, including water, until like an hour or so ago. Prayers to get over this crap would be appreciated.

Since when do you have to be an alumni to be a fan? Does that make alumni better fans somehow? I went to Ball State because it better pertained to my degree. Grew up an IU fan, both my parents attended. I always find it funny how some think you have to attend a school to be a fan, -
Report button. It should be right next to the MultiQuote button. It kind of blends in with the background, but if you hover over it, then it becomes more clear

I'm just getting to the point of reporting the people who can't be bothered to follow the mods directions of not hijacking every damn thread. Guys aren't worth replying to anymore.

So UCLA is really bad this year. Any time they've played a team worth anything the best they've managed was losing by 10 on a neutral court. Tough to coach your own guys...

So like do you feel better about yourself after coming onto a site like this and posting with an obvious agenda? What could you possibly get out of it -
Sucks for Parker. Honestly Bucks were playing pretty well. Really unfortunate. Speaking of the Bucks. If you guys haven't sat down to watch th Greek Freak, it is worth it. Dude is going to be special

Stop seriously. This isn't a Crean thread.

So the Kings fired Mike Malone, because they're upset with their 11-13 start to the season........ Boogie has missed their last 9 games. It must really suck being a Kings fan

West and Cope would probably make the most sense for what they lack with shooting. I'd just question them adding West, he seems like he'd be a great fit for a team close to being a title contender right now, and Charlotte isn't anywhere close. I'd hate to lose him as well. Having Hibbert and Jefferson try to play together would be entertaining to see if nothing else.
-
I've seen a number of names thrown around Miles, Cope, GH, Solo, West, Hibbert. The Hibbert one is funny because they already have Jefferson,
-
I'd be fine with either one. Neither us or Charlotte is going to end up with a bad pick, and if we ended up between that 8-14 range with both picks we could possibly move further up in the draft to get a stud. Or could get a proven guy (LeVert) and project type player (Turner, Loney, or Alexander).
-
Unless they want to include an unprotected first round pick or Vonleh then there should be no chance the Pacers bring Lance back. They're being dumb if they think we'd take him back without that first round pick
-
Wait Smart is Dakich's second choice? Why? Does he want an extremely overrated coach to be brought in. The guy has one deep run in the tournament, and other than that they've been at the top of a mediocre conference. I really don't get the love for Smart. Edit: Also, the havoc defense is quite frankly overrated itself. It is good, but nowhere near as good as some want to make it out to be. Their adjusted defensive, according to Kenpom, is 72nd in the nation

Well FSU sucks. Just so happens that Hamilton apparently drugs recruits when they come to visit him ad gets them to commit then and there

"He just needs to get better talent in, give him some more time." - Boiler This can be applied today, or 3 years from now -
Before you got a chance to edit your comment your entire argument to my post was "Pacers have bigger needs at other positions. Simple as that" The you turn around and criticize one of my comments. That makes sense. Also, I think it is funny you keep trying to say you get the last word by saying the conversation is over, then responding again. Second you said they need a back up big, why? Mahimi is one of the best back up 5's in the league, and Allen has proven to be able to do a lot off the bench this year. Point guard is arguable. The Pacers lack talent more than anything else. LeVert upgrades the talent on the roster and presents someone who can distribute the ball while turning the ball over at a low rate, which alleviates some of the point guard issues. You've yet to actually say why they'd never draft a wing, instead making snide ass comments back
-
How exactly is there no way the Pacers would take him. Our wing position sucks outside of PG and Solo going forward. Also, your comment that LeVert has only played against cupcakes is laughable at best, he put up numbers last year on a Michigan team that actually did something. Not to mention they beat Syracuse who is arguably just as good as anyone IU has played this year. Oh and he put up 16, 6, and 3 against Villanova who is way better than IU has played this year. Yeah, cupcakes..... LeVert is shooting 50% from three so far this year. And again is turning the ball over on only 10% of the possessions he is using, which is on par with his averages in previous years.
-
Neither one is any good at anything besides shooting the ball, they suck at passing, they suck at rebounding, they suck at handling the ball, and they suck defensively. Copeland couldn't even see the court last season because of this stuff. Point is LeVert brings a ton more to the table than either one of them.
