Plus this place would be boring as hell if we were all the same type of fans

    Dalton pretty much summed up perfectly how I feel. Also, this was discussed a lot during this past basketball season, being a fan doesn't equate to all of us cheering for the team in the same way. And it certainly doesn't mean cheering for the team while having no criticism. 

We're just going to have to agree to disagree. I don't think either one was clearly better than the other last season

Wait, wait, wait, hold up a second. Sudfeld blew the game with a pick 6. But Tre doing absolutely nothing on two drives and not just one play didn't? Also, you give credit to Tre for 15 touchdowns, when 8 came against Purdue and ISU who are putrid, but Bowling Green (Who won the MAC) and Illinois don't count for Sudfeld. How exactly does that work

Except he didn't, Sudfeld outplayed him against Navy, Minnesota, and the Ohio State game he threw the ball better. Also, against Bowling Green, Penn State, Illinois and Bowling Green, Sudfeld looked good in all four of those games. That is half the games where Nate got the majority of the snaps and looked good. Those are 7 games, I'll give you 6 since the Ohio State game is arguable they were equally mediocre in a blow out. How exactly did Tre outplay Nate most of the season again when 2 or 3 of the games I didn't list were blowouts. 

Neat. I'm not here blankly stating numbers and acting like the opponents that more than half of those numbers came against doesn't matter. You're acting like Tre was good all year, he simply wasn't

6 of those came against an atrocious Purdue team. 2 of those came against Indiana State. 8 of his touchdown passes came against the worse defenses we played last year. Just blankly stating his numbers like that ignores who they came against

Plus our wide outs aren't really anything that special this year. Seriously, who on offense do people feel good about consistently other than TC

Wait, so Tre gets a pass on the Navy game because he sucked so bad and couldn't move the offense in the two drives he got so he had to get pulled? That makes sense........ I guess if you really like Tre. He dug a whole that the offense could never get out of. How did Tre outplay Sudfeld all year when for about 4 games the only reason he got in the game was to read the read option. That isn't entirely on him, but your logic doesn't make sense at all.   I'm actually higher on Tre than I am Sudfeld. But acting like Tre outplayed Sudfeld all year doesn't make sense

See the Minnesota game where he was absolutely atrocious and got outplayed by Sudfeld. Or the Penn State game where Sudfeld played well. Also, the reason Tre didn't play much early was because outside of the Missouri game he did nothing to deserve to be on the field above Sudfeld. In the two opening series of the Navy game again he was awful digging us into a hole. They both had their moments last year. Neither one of them clearly was better than the other last season

Tre did not in any way out play Sudfeld at the beginning of the year last year. That isn't even close to being accurate. Could argue they were equally effective late in the year as well

Yeah. And week to week we've seen some signs of improvement at times. I mean the Bowling Green game was an absolute mess, then we turn around against Missouri and played well. I still remember late in the year last year against Michigan, which might have been the worst coached defensive game in the history of football. 

The defense has actually shown some signs/flashes of progress under Knorr. The defense managed to get worse on a week to week basis with Doug last season

What exactly was Sudfeld doing to make it two dimensional? He occasionally made plays this year, but was barely forcing the defense to honor him passing the ball

I've heard a lot about Drummond. But haven't seen like anything from him so far

Against one of the best teams in the nation when we had to burn a redshirt just so we had an actual QB playing QB. Plus the offense wasn't even that good with Sudfeld, the only good thing that was consistent about it was Coleman. Even if Sudfeld was healthy we wouldn't have been favored
