  1. ...... Copeland and Rudez suck. LeVert is a stud who can actually do something more than just shoot the ball.
  2. No they don't. PG And Solo and that is it. Isn't another wing worth keeping long term on the roster
  3. Well our wide outs struggled this year to get separation. Hopefully he helps out with that
  4. It isn't a perfect example, but he seems similar to Vic, at least coming out of high school though a bit bigger. Not very heralded, known as an athlete. He hasn't seen a spike in shooting percentage like Vic did, but has shot the 3 ball well for over a year now. Also love how low his turnovers and turnover percentage is despite a high usage rate
  5. Man, I hope the Pacers draft LaVert
  6. So Josh Pastner has to be on thin ice at Memphis right? They haven't really done anything in the tournament, and are off to a bad start to the year
  7. Whitehead still off to a bad start to his college career, 10, 3, and 3.But he is shooting 32% and averaging 4 turnovers per game
  8. Come on defense.
  9. WWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WWWWWWWWYYYYYYYYYYNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
  10. Alright, I knew it was one of the two. They both suck horribly, not that we can speak very loudly about QBs. But still how could someone seen that highly in high school turn out this bad
  11. Wasn't Appleby like an elite 11 QB coming out of high school? How?
  12. I slightly disagree about Alexander, but I'm probably blinded but the fact I think he is going to be special with seasoning. Oubre from the little I've seen as a long ways to go. People called Wiggins a bit raw, but Oubre makes him look finely polished
  13. There wasn't a chance we were getting him. There is a reason we stopped showing up to stuff for him.  And no, Dakich is dead on with all the stuff with Lyles Dad pulling all the strings. I guess we'll agree to disagree, but I don't see in what universe we were going to overcome his dad deciding for him
  14. We were never going to get Lyles back. His Dad wouldn't let it happen
  15. Are people watching the stuff with Chris Walker at Florida? I remember him being a big named recruit coming out of high school, athlete who can leap out of the gym, but doesn't seem to be a very good basketball player, sound familiar? The HMP comparison is probably a bit of a stretch, but it reminds me of it, just because the story is so similar.
  16. LeRon Black is making a pretty nice impact already for Illinois:   9.6 and 4.2 in 17 minutes per night. Though he is having an issue with fouls so far in his career, 2.8 per game.
  17. This is quickly becoming my favorite thread. Not because I like looking at our misses and being Mr. Hindsight, but I genuinely enjoy talking hoops. This and the college hoops threads are fantastic!
  18. Well he has sucked when he has
  19. Or suffer through small talk with a bunch of people you have no connection, since your family isn't very big on Thanksgiving, but your Dad's girlfriend's family is..... just ugh
  20. In case people were wondering, here is a basic translation: "Screw all those teams, this benefits my organization greatly, trolololololololol."
  21. I know he is a IU alum, but Cuban is a moron sometimes:     Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has a come up with a proposal to level the playing field between the NBA’s two conferences. Cuban suggests a conference realignment that would result in a total of eight teams, including the Mavs, switching conferences. In Cuban’s plan, the Mavs, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans would move to the Eastern Conference. The Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks would move to the West. "It’s not like it’d be the first time we’ve ever realigned," Cuban said. "It’s happened many times before, so there’s precedent and I just think it shakes things up and makes things interesting." ESPN.com    "It’s not like you’re reducing competition," said Cuban, who noted that the teams he suggested moving to the West are approximately the same distance from Portland as Dallas and closer than New Orleans, San Antonio and Houston. "You keep Cleveland, Washington and other good teams in the East. It kind of shakes things up in terms of not just interest but also in terms of how people rebuild. "It just changes things up and it changes the thought process of a lot of teams. It makes both conferences very competitive, at least for the short-term and I think, based on the history of the teams, for the long-term as well."ESPN.   http://espn.go.com/dallas/nba/story/_/id/11943941/mark-cuban-dallas-mavericks-conference-realignment-benefit-nba
  22. Wasn't Oklahoma ranked to start the year? Don't really get why ESPN is running with this upset story from the Oklahoma-UCLA game.
  23. Fixed that for you
  24. So Butler looks like a loss for us
