But guys who are proven have no real incentive to leave their current situations to come here. If that's not in your face obvious at this point, then Im not sure you'll ever be convinced. They dont need Indiana's "built in" advantages bc they can beat Indiana at Baylor, Bama, Texas Tech, Gonzaga, etc. without having to deal with the built in disadvantages that come with coaching here. This job is not one of the best jobs in the nation. It's a place where coaches get fired.

I know that I’m in the minority here but again.....if he can put together a monster staff, and we don’t have any real shot with a so called “home run” candidate, I’m all for giving Woody a shot. He could be just the shot in the arm this program needs to get the next guy. **** it. Hire him. I’ll get behind him.

I used to say this but I’m slowly realizing that Indiana Basketball isn’t what we think it is. It’s not what it used to be. We’d have found a suitable coach by now. If this job was such a desirable one, we’d have suitors busting down Dolson’s door. The Zeller years are the outlier in my entire lifetime. ** when I say we would have found a suitable coach by now, I mean since Knights dismissal 21 years ago.

I understand what the word means. Im also not a fool. He's looking for better options. They are going to come in waves. Unless we make a big splash, he's gone. If I was betting on this I'd go all in on him leaving. Don't blame him. A player his caliber deserves better opportunities to win.
