    Rooting hard for Justin Smith right now. After his comments about how Muss allows him to play, I’ve found myself sympathizing with him (and the other players). He had his tires stuck in the mud here.

    I made a comment at the beginning of the game, that Loyola’s defense was elite..... I’m not sure I can sit through that abortion of an offense though. That was a nightmare to watch. Reminded me too much of the last 4 years. Hard pass.

    With all due respect to everyone else but no one knows a damn thing about who is coming or who isn’t. We don’t know that Fife takes over at MSU either. I would like to see the guy lead his own program and have success. That’s not asking too much. At this point in time, all of his success has come riding the coattails of an all time great. Talented players commit to MSU bc of Izzo... not Fife.

    I always felt like the longer this went, the better our chances were with Stevens. Said this numerous times but I really hope we have the last laugh. I’m personally offended by the national media mocking the program.

    He’s insufferable, like most in the national media. It’s just a real life showing of the Revenge of The Nerds. I wish I could line each one of them up, give them an embarrassing amount of buckets, then tell them to never argue with us about basketball again. 99% of IU’s fans have forgotten more about basketball than they’ll ever know.

    IU and our fanbase is getting absolutely trashed by the national media. I’m having a hard time finding a precedent for any program at any point in time. What the **** do they really have against IU? It is pretty clear that these people have an axe to grind. I really hope that some coach stands up for us all and gives us the ability to shove it right up these dorks *****.

    By what measure? I’ve been as pessimistic as most lately and even I can’t deny that IU is a better job/program than Texas. There is zero metric in which they are a better program. This season is about as peak Texas basketball as it gets.

    It’s bad. I seen one a few days ago where the person said he “wanted to show up on his front door and cut his ******* head off.” I went back and tried to find it to show to a buddy and it’s gone! Must have been deleted or taken down. The vitriol is on another level. I seent it.

    I’ve changed my tune on the guys who are still playing or were in the tournament. I originally wanted Beard most but now I’m thinking that Musselman is perfect for this job.
