  1. I know these change daily but thought it would be neat to have these posted somewhere. Illinois CB
  2. I was just taking a gander at our crystal ball chances and... glad Livers chose UM after having 100% MSU. It gives me hope!
  3. Hopefully this happens to IU with a Bamba, Gak, Jackson, Scruggs, and Waters. I'm sure we'll hear over and over again "he's no chopped liver!"
  4. And it's perfectly fine that you want them to leave after this season. I prefer an older brand of basketball where it's not all about the NBA but about the college game, and the college team that I support. I've said both that I would like OG to stay and I believe he won't have the year some are projecting. Even if he doesn't have a spectacular year he might have the opportunity as a first rounder. I thought it was pretty awesome Bryant chose to return and stated that he wanted more out of the college game. That earned him respect with the older generation IU fans that he would pass up millions to accomplish more FOR IU. Again, all just my opinion.
  5. Where did I post that? Don't construe what you want to read in my post that's not actually there. No projection needed.
  6. I know it's crazy talk in the era of one and give me my money but I like players who stick around and earn a degree. I also care about how good Indiana University men's basketball team will be. We can say how much it will help recruiting by the staff recruiting a kid outside the top 250 and having him drafted in the first round. I agree that's really cool but again I prefer the staff being able to sell the family on turning the young man into a man, earning his degree, AND getting drafted in the lottery. I guess what I'm saying is if we had a million Oladipo's I would be extremely happy.
  7. I'm not trying to rag on OG but I'm not sure he'll have that season. I'm not arguing that if you're projected lottery or close to it you should go. I believe OG will have a great year but will return as a junior.
  8. Let things roll off your shoulder man. There are a ton of other things to waste your "upset energy" on than this message board. We're all on the same team here man. We might disagree but it s all in fun!
  9. I must have it wrong then. I was brought up most of my "professional" life that if I'm not being made fun of/teased than I'm not liked. The people that are not being made fun of are not part of "the crew." Just my experience. I had no idea what "four months old for the win" even meant. I thought we won four months ago..
  10. It's an Internet message more. I chalk it up to them having a bad day. I might check quickly to see that I'm not stupid and then go on with my day/night which equals to me posting on this site while watching the olympics. #myliferulez
  11. Thanks, thought it was going to be something really good! Down vote for something not real creative Dalton...
  12. I kind of want to know what the insult was...
  13. My list is strictly those who I think we have a chance with PG: 1. Scruggs 2. Waters 3. Durham 4. Barcello SG: none SF: 1. Wilkes 2. Tucker 3. Smith PF: none C: 1. Gak I don't really think we will need a PF in this class if we land a big wing or two. If OG stays his junior year he'll play PF or if not JMo will start. I do worry about getting a serviceable big. If we don't land one in the '17 class we'll need to go through grad transfers to find one. We can't go from Davis to JMo at the 5. I don't think we need an SG either because we have enough and some of the PGs we are recruiting can slide over to the 2. I'm really interested to see how the guard situation "works itself out" through this year and next offseason. I know some are certain JBJ will be gone but I think another one of the young guards will possibly look to transfer. This is an important class. If we land a top 10ish class we could absolutely contend for 3 straight B1G titles and look to have a deep run or two.
  14. It seems Crean and co. can do that with guards/wings and get away with it. We've had some very successful late recruiting hauls in the past. However, I think MSU has several players leave early for the NBA and he commits there. Has Crean pulled any recruits from his home state while at IU?
  15. Not unusual, Scruggs is on an official visit to Xavier so you'll have more CB going that way. Is Brown visiting Kansas?
  16. Waters, Durham, Wilkes, Tucker, and Deng.... yeah I'd be stoked about that class. That's a top 5 class added to what should be at least a solid core of returning players in Newkirk, RoJo, CuJo, Morgan, and Davis, probably OG too.
  17. Wow, wasn't he one of the top QB recruits coming out of high school?
  18. Not sure who does HSL but interesting take. Landing both Tucker and Wilkes would make us tall on the wing.
  19. Same, I think JMor has a lot to show as a sophomore. He had a solid freshman campaign, even though often playing through injury. His per 40 was something like 10.5 pts and 9.2 rebs. He's been mostly overlooked by Bryant and OG over the summer. If he can keep those per 40 while increasing his playing time we'll be competing with the best in the nation.
  20. First a freaking IUFB "raise the flag" billboard in Louisville and now an IUFB "raise the flag" on a Wave 3 out of Louisville. That's nuts!!!
