  1. Other browsers seem to be working. Chrome was giving me the same problem
  2. Are you in chrome?
  3. Huge Italian footprint esp. in South Philly. I hear it all the time from them
  4. It's possible. But there are so many fugasi UNC fans, not only in this area, but within driving distance up and down the east coast that I'm expecting a big turn out for them.
  5. Uh oh. It wasn't doing it for me but now it is. Specifically, when I click btownbanners logo top left to go to the main page
  6. Basically they'll have video of the practice streaming via an app - Periscope. I have a meeting at 1 today so I may not be able to post it but there should be a link from their twitter account, click on the link and you should be able to see the practice.
  7. Mike Pegram ‏@peegs 13m13 minutes ago Indiana's open practice at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia today will run from 1:00-1:50 pm ET. We hope to periscope much of it #iubb

  9.       (As my ex-wife used to say, "Put it in." )     I really think this guy is making fun of himself with these videos or something. I used to think he was serious and it was more fun
  10. John Calipari @UKCoachCalipari Met with our team today. Told them that during the season it’s about the team and sacrificing for each other – which they did this year.   John Calipari @UKCoachCalipari When the season’s over, it’s about each individual player and what’s right for them and their families.   John Calipari @UKCoachCalipari With that being said, every player who is eligible for the draft, including our walk-ons, will submit their names for the NBA Draft ...   John Calipari @UKCoachCalipari ... in hopes of being invited to the combine in May.   John Calipari @UKCoachCalipari The new rule states they can submit their name a total of three times. If they choose to withdraw, they have until 10 days after the combine   John Calipari @UKCoachCalipari It's a true win-win for the student-athlete.
  11. So I put zero stock into anything Doyel thinks, but plenty of people are saying similar things so i'm believing them.
  12. http://maryland.247sports.com/Bolt/Dwayne-Morgan-Leaves-UNLV-Expected-to-be-Interested-in-Maryland-44434300   "As reported by IMS in February, UNLV sophomore Dwayne Morgan is transferring. A source close to Morgan, a former prized recruit at Baltimore's St. Frances Academy, told IMS he's looking to move somewhere within driving distance from Baltimore because of his mother's health issues, and he's expected to consider Maryland."
  13. Jeff Goodman @GoodmanESPN Arizona State’s Savon Goodman will transfer and be able to play next season, source told ESPN. Averaged 10 and 6 last year.   http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/61904/savon-goodman         Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein USC's Darion Clark will graduate and transfer, sources told @CBSSports. Immediately eligible. Undersized post player.   http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/61573/darion-clark
  14. Keep in mind what the new rules allow...I would expect both TB and TW to give it a try.       "Players will be allowed to enter the draft multiple times and participate in the combine and one NBA team tryout per year. They also will be allowed up to 10 days to withdraw from the draft after the combine"     http://www.nba.com/2016/news/01/13/ncaa-convention-draft-status-flexibility/
  15.   My apologies, I didn't mean at IU. I was just talking about players leaving at the collegiate level. DJ Pettway (Bama), Everett Golson (ND), Randy Ramsey (Ark) are a few examples.
  16. I couldn't disagree more. Emmitt got such a raw deal. Would love the idea of him coming back, and it isn't unprecedented.
  17. Gregg Doyel @GreggDoyelStar Tulane's search for a basketball coach has it sniffing around Indiana State's Greg Lansing, I'm hearing. Doubt he'd leave ISU for there tho.
  18. I want to preface this by saying regardless of what happens Friday I am so proud of this Indiana team. I'm happy for Crean. I've been critical but am not afraid to admit when I'm wrong. Good for Crean and his family, good for Yogi, good for all of these kids. Now...IU, win this game.     I think there are a few keys to the game...   IU needs to keep TB out of foul trouble. TB changes the dynamic on both ends due to his size and rebounding on defense, and obvious scoring threat on offense. That said, he isn't very polished on defense. TB gets a lot of phantom calls but Crean needs to gameplan to keep him out of foul trouble. To me, this means he shouldn't draw Brice Johnson. TB cannot guard him without fouling. If Crean puts TB on Brice Johnson I really think that's setting him up for failure. IU should use multiple defenders, CH, OG, JM, Max, to guard BJ but not TB.    Inversely, I think UNC will use BJ on TB. I've seen this mentioned and agree...bring TB out to the 3 pt line and free up the lane. Drive, kick, hope we're on. Force it a bit if not at first. This team is too good of a shooting team to not start catching fire. 5th overall at 41.6 % from 3pt range. Shooting is so much about confidence. This team has YF, NZ, RJ all as elite 3 pt shooters with Max holding his own. Let them shoot till they see it go down and you'll see it continue. IU needs to shoot well to win this game and they're due for it.   UNC is ranked 308th in 3pt percentage at 31.4%. Pack it in. That may not be a completely accurate perspective as Paige has started hitting from deep lately, but, the point remains. Make UNC shoot. BJ shoots 61% and it is coming from the paint. UNC gets 19.6% of their points from deep which ranks 345th in the country. There are only 351 teams in D1 basketball. Make them beat you with their weakness.    Run the offense through TB. Even if he isn't getting shots up - anyone in chat is probably tired of hearing me talk about this- IU is at it's best when they work the ball through Bryant. If you collapse on Bryant, you're in trouble bc he can really pass the ball well to an assortment of shooters. You also have cutters he can hit. He is also a problem in one on one situations. If UNC doesn't help, it's a good possibility he scores or gets his man in foul trouble.   Nick Z..thank you. You have proved me wrong on defense. I have been critical of Z and his defense, but he just guarded a top 5 scoring guard in Jamal Murray and did so effectively. Keep it up. I'm not sure who he guards/if he starts/if Rojo is healthy but keep it up. I guess Berry. IU needs it and it's been a difference maker.      Matchups:   I think Joel Berry gets YF. Berry can defend, but he isn't near the defender Ullis is. I'm not sure everyone realizes how elite of a defender Ullis is. UNC fans seem confident he will be able to shut YF down, but they're wrong.    YF guards Paige. Paige has been rounding back into form, but I think Yogi can fluster him. Paige is a hell of a player though.   Hoping RJ is good to go and can guard Berry. RJ is a great defender and I like him ito shut down Berry.   I'm not sure who guards Justin Jackson if OG is out or guarding BJ. I guess TW. That may spell trouble.   I put TB on Hicks/Meeks/James, whichever is in...for reasons above.   Like I said above, BJ is going to be an issue. I think IU needs to show multiple looks at him unless they find someone that works. He can shoot it from the line (77.8%) so gotta try to force it elsewhere. Truth is, he'll probably get his. But IU would be wise to pack it in, and force his shots to be low percentage shots due to some doubling.
  19. SIAP...   Oakland Online @OaklandOnline UCLA coach Steve Alford apologizes to fans, gives back contract extension  #sports
  20. Not in the part that I heard
  21. Andy Katz @ESPNAndyKatz If you missed @IndianaMBB Tom Crean, @BadgerMBB Bronson Koenig or @ZagMBB Mark Few on Katz Korner well it's on again at 3 pm @ESPNU.
  22. Good point. Either way, what OG has done -whether he leaves after this year or beyond- will play so well in living rooms across the country. Crean can point to Wade, Vic, and now OG. That's pretty solid.   While I know Vic did a lot of work on his own, I think it's time to give some credit back to Crean and the developmental program, as a whole, at Indiana.
  23. Calling out Doyel on that "IU wants to be Kentucky" article. Having him on now
  24. Dakich is coming at the UK fanbase haaaardddd hahhaha
