I actually like Dakich, but that's not the point. I was looking for somewhere to post about his show...   Anyways, today he is having Tony Bennett on and is going to talk about him turning down the IU job. I'm sure he'll avoid the question and give some generic answer, but still.   Also, Dakich is huge on IU this year so interested to hear him talk about last night.

Let me start by saying I am not a doctor nor do I have shoulder issues, but....my understanding is that until a corrective surgery in the offseason this injury can occur and reoccur at anytime, really. Typical recovery is just a few days. Don Fischer said on the radio that he spoke with Garl (i believe?) on the plane home after the Iowa game and he wasn't concerned about it. Said Juwan would be fine and it's happened 3-4 times this season. Just annoying, and painful when it happens. Constantly sore. 

Did some digging. I was wrong in thinking IU just started recruiting him a few weeks ago. They've been on him for at least Nov of '14. Not sure how actively, but regardless. Son of Winston Garland who played PG in the NBA. Dad is from Gary and always wanted to play at IU. I think he coaches there now.    Anyways, Garland transferred to Brentwood Academy but he's an Indiana boy with some Indiana parents.
