  1. IU up 59-38.   Brooks 1 point and 3 assists away from a double double.
  2. Halftime, IU leads 43-29.   Brooks:  7 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists McBride:  7 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists Gassion:  6 points, 3 rebounds Cahill:  6 points, 7 rebounds
  3. 38-25 IU.   Brooks leading the way with 7 now.
  4. Hoosiers up 21-13.   Buss and Agler leading the way right now.  Buss with 5 points, 2 boards and 3 assists while Agler has 5 and 2 assists.
  5. First round?  It's not a smart move taking a running back not named Adrian Peterson in the first round.
  6. Gotta like that she visits Archie Dees in his nursing home.
  7. Not everyone here likes Crean.  I've been about as vocal as anyone in how I feel about him.  I loved the hire at first, but he's lost me gradually then I actually took a look at his resume when he was hired and wasn't very impressed.  He's a wildly mediocre coach, his track record of 16 years proves it, it just so happens he's a great salesman and could sell ice to an eskimo.  IU can do better, IU should do better, and we need to stop lowering the bar just to avoid admitting that Crean isn't good enough and that the administration botched another hire; we should expect more, we should stop making excuses, we should stop resorting to "well, we could do worse" as some sort of defense, we should hold him accountable for HIS program.   There are other threads for our feelings on Crean, and I've been as guilty as anyone of devolving threads with our feelings on our coach.
  8. Yep.  For as good as Coleman is, and he is darn good, 2K yards rushing reflects pretty well on the Oline too.
  9. I could see that, can't say I blame him.  Although I do love the idea of adding a 1,500 yard rusher to a stable that includes Coleman and Redding.
  10. Just found out today I have a preliminary interview on Tuesday.
  11. I didn't play high school hoops. Usually played pick up games during lunch, some of the guys I played against did play. Most I took was 7 and made 5 that day, my confidence was pretty high after a baseline pull-up jumper early.
  12. I know her 3P% in high school was decent, but not particularly good.  She's still been getting in the lane though, which is a good thing.
  13. She hasn't shot well this year from anywhere, but yeah that's awful for a guard.   She needs to work on her shooting in general, I actually expected her to shoot better than she has.
  14. New slot receiver?  Not sure how that shuttle times rates.
  15. Yes!  That gives us 2 4* safeties between him and Allen, love that.
  16. You'd think he would've learned something from Izzo, a guy that regularly has his team playing their absolute best going into March.  Apparently not.
  17. That explains the tailspin that team was in after @MSU.  We've looked like we were out of gas at the end of the season a few times.
  18. He would be an upgrade over Stan.  I'm not comfortable with the issues surrounding him, and even if Stan left we don't need another guard.
  19. He wouldn't be the best player on a team with Yogi and Blackmon.  Setting aside the fact that he has enough red flags of his own, as others have said we do not need another guard.
  20. People don't change unless they want to.  We don't know if he wants to or not, but there are enough red flags with this kid for me to want us to stay far away and that's coming from a guy that thinks these top IN kids should be priority #1 for us.
  21. Please no.  With the red flags around Lyle that may not be a good trade off.
  22. He should've been, Robertson is the better pitcher.  I grew up a Yankees fan, but the front office ticks me off sometimes with things like their love affair of washed up injury prone veterans and refusing to talk extensions during the season.   Not sure what they do now, Betances was lights out as set-up man for DRob last season so they could move him to closer but his ability to go multiple innings would be wasted.  I wasn't big on the Miller signing, but they could move him to closer and hope he wasn't a one year wonder.  They could platoon them based on matchups, and we know Girardi loves to play the matchups.  The farm produces a bunch of good relievers and have another young arm in Lindgren that could be promoted sometime this season.
  23. Oh, and now apparently the Yankees never even made him an offer.  Yet they signed Andrew Miller, a guy with a shorter track record and statistically not as good, for 4/36.  What the friggin' hell?
