  1. He should've been, Robertson is the better pitcher.  I grew up a Yankees fan, but the front office ticks me off sometimes with things like their love affair of washed up injury prone veterans and refusing to talk extensions during the season.   Not sure what they do now, Betances was lights out as set-up man for DRob last season so they could move him to closer but his ability to go multiple innings would be wasted.  I wasn't big on the Miller signing, but they could move him to closer and hope he wasn't a one year wonder.  They could platoon them based on matchups, and we know Girardi loves to play the matchups.  The farm produces a bunch of good relievers and have another young arm in Lindgren that could be promoted sometime this season.
  2. Oh, and now apparently the Yankees never even made him an offer.  Yet they signed Andrew Miller, a guy with a shorter track record and statistically not as good, for 4/36.  What the friggin' hell?
  3. Well, the White Sox just got a good one signing David Robertson.  I wanted him back in pinstripes in a bad way, he's been one of the better relief pitchers in the league the last few years and after Mo retired was a darn good closer.   Not an overpowering fastball, but it's deceptive because of his long stride.  A filthy curve to boot.  He can sometimes get into trouble, although he's improved in this area, but he can usually work his way out of it.  Strikes out a bunch of hitters.  I'm a big DRob fan if you can't tell.     He's also got a non-profit organization for those effected by natural disasters, High Socks for Hope, that he donates to.  He donates $100 dollars for every K (to date 524 over his 7 year career) and last season pledged to donate $200 for every save (finished the season with 39).
  4. The RB isn't to my knowledge, just the receiver.
  5. When Hawkins left UF he got interest from Wisconsin and Nebraska too.  Couple pretty good programs were after him, sounds good for us.
  6. I wouldn't complain about defensive help either though.
  7. Some decent offers in Iowa State, Minnesota and Syracuse.
  8. If this kid has gotten past the off-field issues he'd be a good addition.  I'd like to add the UAB players too, a RB and WR.
  9. Good Ol' JR with the Hoosier sweatshirt.  That's pretty awesome.
  10. I wish UK would hurry up and lose.
  11. Drexel lost to DII University of Sciences on a last second shot.
  12. I'm done with the stream, hit refresh and the video and audio catches up then the audio starts repeating action from a few minutes ago.
  13. Okay, my stream is beyond awful.  The video shows BC's starting lineup, the audio is a little behind, and the Gametracker is already showing the score.
  14. Finally a stream of the game.
  15. Hoosiers lose 65-61.  You won't win many games with poor shooting and 22 turnovers.   It's not like ISU played well, they just played less bad.
  16. Shooting 23.8% from deep, oof.
  17. Gametracker shows 20 turnovers, even worse.
  18. Okay girls, think of it like 0-0.  New game, go out there and show them what you've got.
  19. Come on ladies, hang on to this.
  20. Tyra is shooting a woeful 29.4% from deep so far.  I expected some adjustment, I didn't expect her to be shooting that poorly.   EDIT:  And a dreadful 57.7% from the charity stripe.  As a guard.  Ouch.  Come on Tyra, we know you're better than that.
  21. Shooting 50% from the line and 34% from the field, 31% from 3.  That's pretty bad, especially that FT number.   Come on ladies, get in gear and stretch this lead out.
  22. 12 turnovers with over 10 minutes to go.  Not good.
  23. Yeah, we turned it over 8 times in the first.  Too many for one half.
  24. Gametracker has us playing even with them on the boards, 24 each.   ISU- 6 offensive, 18 defensive IU- 5 offensive, 19 defensive
