"Why I dislike our offense" reason number....okay, I lost count of the reasons.  Let's just file this one under "not adjusting to maximize a player's strengths", reason number 30 or 40 or 50 or 1000.  That fault lies with someone else and not Collin though.   He's a smart player that knows how to get the job done, and he actually tried on defense unlike a few of our players.

There are ways to get a catch and shoot guy open, for instance running them off screens; use off ball movement and off ball screens.  It's easy to guard an offense that doesn't move, and you don't need the ball to move. There is more to running offense than just a weave and ball screens, that's just mostly what our offense is.

I forgot to add that whoever takes one for the team and goes in will have to ignore the empty cans that say 'Light Beer' on the side strewn all around.  It's been tough since he lost his part time job at the local Mom 'n Pops, but he has faith that with some hard work his University of Kentucky degree will pay off and he'll achieve his dream of being head cashier at the local McDonald's.   EDIT:  On the other hand, we could also glue a picture of the WatShot to his "I still hate Christian Laettner" t-shirt.

At this moment a pUKe fan is probably taking out a lien against his single wide and offering up his sister/wife so he can build a hilljack shrine to the 38 wins with those shoes as the center piece.   Let him have the shoes, then one of us can sneak in while he's passed out drunk and glue a picture of the last undefeated team over it with a VHS of the '76 title game playing on a loop in the VCR.

One point, if pUKe relied on in state talent they would be a mid-major. They produce very little.

I don't think Crean was ever really going anywhere even without Bryant, Glass loves him so we'd probably have to get rid of Glass too. It's already been covered but we need a scholarship to free up now, Ritchie has 0 effect on that.

I thought Kentucky broke the site so we couldn't revel in their misery, another reason to hate them.  Bringing the total to about infinity and one.

I'm thinking it'll be the same as this year with one difference:   Yogi Blackmon Johnson Williams Bryant   Bryant in place of Hanner will help the defense because someone will be able to challenge shots at the rim, our perimeter players have to start giving a crap about staying in front of someone though.

I'm not sure how well GoColts would go over here. He is knowledgeable but he can also be VERY abrasive, which IMO can be very entertaining if your not on the receiving end. I'd be willing to give him a shot, but others may grow tired of him pretty quickly.

Checked out some reels, the Silver Max is pretty nice for the price point.  Saw a real nice Shimano, but I'm not paying $180 for a reel.

May be going to a sporting goods store after I get off work today. Any suggestions of reels to check out in a range of about $70-80 max? Could go a little higher if I like the reel enough. Thinking about a gear ratio of around 6:1.

The buyout does seem incredibly stupid, but after learning more about his it's structured it's not quite as dumb as it seems. It's paid out over 5 years and whatever Crean makes at his next job would be deducted from the payment, so IU could theoretically get away with paying very little of it. Still a stupid contract, but not as bad as it appears on the surface.
