  1. Judges ruling? Yes, it looks like we have a winner. Well done.
  2. Familytreedoesntbranch.com?
  3. I thought that's what Farmers Only was for?
  4. At some point you have to establish some expectations.  Stability in and of itself does nothing, coaches have to earn stability and at some point Wilson has to have the results to back up the hope he's trying to sell.  It's a good thing people are saying he needs to perform now, it means they're setting some expectations and won't settle for just anything.
  5. I'm okay with this scenario too, possibly leaning this way.  I'm not sure it'd happen though, and if it didn't it should be 100% do or die next season.
  6. No one has said not to, but you can have too many and that's what we've seen our share of with Crean.  Have too many and the team isn't ready for B1G play.  You do need some easy wins though.   Whatsamatta U and WhotheFisthat State having athletics or not shouldn't be any of our concern though.
  7. Don't worry, it'll be balanced out with a few that can't even be found on Google.
  8. I agree with giving Wilson time to build something, but only to an extent.  Hope for the future only goes so far, at some point he has to deliver the results to justify continued hope.  I expect a bowl this season, at least a low bowl, and if it doesn't happen this season I'd be okay with bringing Wilson back in a do or die scenario.  IMO we're getting to the point where we need to expect the results instead of just hoping.   I thought the defense showed some improvement last season, especially towards the end of the year.  Which was a pleasant surprise over Doug "how could this defense possibly get worse?  Oh, that's how" Mallory.  Every game Mallory was the MVP for the opposing offense.
  9. Adios. I was looking forward to having 2 4* safeties in the defensive backfield too. Friggin idiot.
  10. That is one massive individual. If he was any bigger he'd probably have his own gravitational pull.
  11. May not be the right thread for the discussion, but this is where I am.  Hope for the future can only take you so far, eventually you have to have the results to back it up.
  12. NBA players sometimes get away with far far worse than 3 or 4 steps.  I saw a clip where a player literally double dribbled, switched pivot feet AND took about 8 steps and didn't get called.
  13. We also self-reported, so we made their job very easy.  No denying that the NCAA is entirely corrupt and just competent enough to sometimes be dangerous; that 'sometimes' includes the aforementioned self-reporting.
  14. Yeah we seem to hear this "sleeper" or "diamond in the rough" stuff every time Crean offers a lower ranked recruit.  At the end of the day the reason players like Vic are such a story is because it doesn't happen much.
  15. He's 'non-traditional', as in he's a college coach but his primary goal is putting players in the NBA.
  16. our offense can be pretty bad whenever the transition game gets taken away. Struggling to score in the half court isn't a recent issue either.
  17. That would be how it would be the entire season too.
  18. Kind of by default since it couldn't really get much worse.  Although I'm not sure how much better unless our perimeter players suddenly start giving a crap about staying in front of someone.
  19. It's not hard to place more emphasis on D than we did considering we didn't play D last year.  We treated it as that nuisance between offensive possessions.
  20. Sources tell me a call took place between Cal and WWW, here's a brief transcript:   Squid:  "Wes, you see this about the independent pro team in Vegas?  That's supposed to be us!" WWW:  "Technically, John, you're a college team.  The 'U' in UK stands for university and the 'C' in NCAA stands for collegiate." Squid:  "We're a non-traditional program." WWW:  "You always talk about 'the greatest tradition in college basketball' for being so non-traditional." Squid:  "Technicalities.  Anyway, what's this mean for us?" WWW:  "It means the going rate just went up.  Uncle Wes will take care of it, remember you know nothing just like you didn't see Rose's cousin on the plane."
  21. Get paid to play basketball without having to go to college.  Isn't that why they go to UK?
  22. I don't remember exactly which extra fluffy cupcake he referred to, but it may have been them.  I mean I know he SEasy barely has a pulse, but they're not THAT bad.
  23. I personally prefer the DH, I'd rather see an average hitter up there instead of a pitcher because the average pitcher is on their own level of awful with the bat. Even pitchers that are good hitters by pitcher standards suck with the bat. Not to mention you see pitchers get hurt running the bases making them unavailable to do their actual job. And I hate giving away outs by having him bunt.
  24. I thought the same thing.
  25. Maybe it's not so much that people 'want' to play small as it is that's just what they think will end up happening.  This season wasn't the first time we ran a 3 guard lineup, and our coach hasn't shown much willingness to change things.  I really see the lineup looking like did this season with Bryant in place of Hanner.
