  1. IU, Duke, MSU, Nova, Syracuse, and Washington. No Gtown ND, or Texas
  2. Condolences mdn. Thoughts are with you brother.
  3. YAHOOOOOOOOO!!!!
  4. It is unlikely that Gard will extract the amount of wins out of their talent the way that Ryan did. He was putting “Bo Ryan developed” players on the court, but that dynamic gradually fades.
  5. Ramsey and Harris still strong. Bouknight with a big rise up to #73.
  6. Oh Lordy. NOW who is going to be our resident curmudgeon?!? ;)
  7. That's a relatively tough game. Tougher than the opener against Chicago State.
  8. And this info is coming from a real live Doctor! :)
  9. I have a vague memory back when IU was recruiting Jake that he would've been ranked much higher if he were a few inches taller. Well? He's now a few inches taller. EDIT: Article from August, 2015 on 6'8" sophomore Jake: Although none of the D-I programs he’s been in contact with have extended scholarship offers — Forrester says more than 15 have shown interest — the message he heard repeatedly during the summer months was that he needed another year of seasoning.Particularly since Forrester, who sports a remarkably long wingspan, says his doctor recently suggested that he might sprout another three or four inches before he’s done growing. So, couple the added length with his mobility and passion for the game and one can imagine why college programs are intrigued. And, from an article one year ago: What are you at right now, weight-wise? Well, I'm like 6'9" and 215 right now. I'd like to be 6'10" and maybe 225 by next year.
  10. Throughout his collegiate career Evan Fitzner has consistently been listed as 6'10". Here is Evan standing next to Jake (no idea who the young lady is between them lol). You be the judge of Jake's height:
  11. Chuck is WAAAAY funnier.
  12. Zion = Charles Barkley part deux?
  13. Visit from him would be a nice surprise .
  14. My freshman year at IU was 1983. They had lounge residents that year too. sigh
  15. I am DEFINITELY NOT (just) a pretty face!
  16. Well if he's down to four, I'm gonna take a guess that the current four are IU, PU, Xavier, and OSU. Franklin is down to three: IU, Purdue, and Xavier. If Newman eliminates the one that Franklin commits to, that means that... Ahhhh...screw it! I'm not a mathematician, but it seems that the chances of IU getting either Newman or Franklin are mathematically: "Pretty likely."
  17. Ah yes... “Richard Underwood.” Ima gonna use that one.
  18. I get the feeling that Crean is a way way nicer guy.
  19. “Former IU basketball STAR Freddie McSwain”. Lol
  20. Seems to me that Underwood is a very effective in-game coach and motivator, but that the word has gotten out among high-level players that he is NOT a guy that kids want to play for. In a low talent, mid-level conference scenario that can be very effective; every school is rolling the dice on underrecruited players in those conferences. In the B1G? His 300+ ranked big men will likely get handled by most teams, and that will only exacerbate the tension and Underwood’s jerkiness.
  21. Guys and gals; if (IF) we get TJD and Keion, we are soooooo all set no matter what else comes to pass.
  22. Great post! And while we're at it, under this principle we're probably selling Fitzner's spot to Njaji and Shedrick.
  23. Now ya done gone and ticked off one of our friendliest guys ;) Yeesh.
  24. 12-8 would put us in that 4th-6th place area that we're projected to. Can we do better? Sure, but that would be a bonus, not an avoidance of disappointment for me.
