  1. Here's a new Cignetti meme for you: It is Coach watching a basketball game. He is completely locked in. It is during a stoppage in play.
  2. Geezus, the man can't even watch a basketball game as a celebrated guest without being locked in. lol
  3. Worth noting; Manhertz is a highly ranked recruit because he has such a high ceiling. He is also raw, young, and needs to add 15-25 pounds to compete as a P4 rotation player. EIther him or Karvala could be red-shirt candidates, could be back of the bench kids that are transitioned in as the season evolves, or could surprise and be more college ready than expected. Manhertz and Karvala are not likely to be anywhere near as capable of being rotation players next year as the returnees with a similar profile; Sisley, Dorn, and Miles. Now Prince Moody-Alexander? He has much, much better chance to be a college-ready body and skill set right from the get go. And that's important because we will need ready to play guards next year.
  4. I dunno, a starting lineup of Cox, Benter, Mayer, Jacobsen, and Harris seems like even though it's full of fairly proven commodities, it will be 'just okay', but not necessarily top half of the B1G. Benter is probably the single upside/most potentially valuable player from that group.
  5. Yes, if we'd played them a week earlier they would have been top five. But if we'd played them next week they might barely be ranked!
  6. Yay! Quizás sea mejor decir... ¿Qué pasó?
  7. Or accept the role of autocratic dictator of a South American nation!
  8. More big news for LSU Football:
  9. No; he will be in unform this fall. And FWIW, he may greatly succeed or greatly fail, but one thing I'm quite sure of is that other reclass players' failures will have zero impact on whether he succeeds.
  10. Lee Beebe Jr. and Khobie Martin also officially in IU mode for 2026.
  11. In 2022 that horn likely went off more than a little bit against Indiana. I am worried-not about that horn going off against the 2026 Indiana Hoosiers.
  12. We have Puredoo in Btown next season. That game at Rutger is going to be well over 50% IU fans, and I shall be one of them. Waiting for the June Rutger single game ticket release date, and after that a beautiful October weekend in NYC with an hour train ride from Penn Station to the less than beautiful Rutger campus.
  13. As an illustrious IU basketball luminary would say, "Welcome young fella. Indiana Basketball is the sh!t." Good for him, and good for us!
  14. Meanwhile, in Lexington, the home of the highest payroll in college hoops, all is going swimmingly! Final score? Vandy 80, UK 55.
  15. He's got one ready-made with Tayton missing time with the ankle. Imagine he'll go with substantial minutes for Tayton but off of the bench once he's ready to be a full go.
  16. Both of these are true for me. Devries is going to have to make a tough descision soon; either Enright or a healthy Conerway in the starting lineup but not both.
  17. Cig sitting courtside during the game. Players clearly are taking a regular peek at the most iconic, intimidating coach in America in any sport. IU players' reaction? Purdue players' reaction?
  18. For next year we are already looking to have more wings than Buffalouie's: Sisley, Miles, Prince AM, Karvala, Dorn, and Manhertz. Gonna need a couple of primary ballhandlers and a couple of true bigs.
  19. Coach enters the locker room post-game. You just knew the Pres would be there:
  20. Even better? SuckyHummel flinches as Conor's Fanta-dap almost follows through to Robbie's nose:
