  1. ESPN current NFL first round draft projections. 32 draftees. 12 of 32 from teams that were defeated by the 2025 Indiana Hoosiers. 1 Indiana Hoosier (Fernando).
  2. That's a very, very highly rated corner. A top 15 corner in the nation. And he's from California. It appears that his hope is that he can suit up for the Indiana Hoosiers.
  3. He included nine of ten P4 playoff teams (not Oklahoma), and then placed Iowa over Bama (suck it Saban) and ND and Texas over Bama and TTech..
  4. So in other words, almost an exact replica of theDevries' buyout. From ESPN upon his hire: "If DeVries were to leave, his buyout would be $10 million in 2026 and would decline by $2 million per season over each of the next two years before dropping to $3 million in the fourth year of the deal. That number goes to $1 million in 2030 before hitting zero in 2031."
  5. I'm not thinking that a $10 million buyout for Schertz would satisfy @TheWatShot (but maybe). I agree with your assessment of the type of buyout Schertz would require, and he might be a best example.
  6. I've seen that tweet. Damn -- what an incredible punt. Simply perfect distance, angle, and hang-time. What a perfect example of IU's discipline and excellence in special teams. Check out the formation of our special team coverage at the moment that Toney catches the punt. Perfection.
  7. Disagree. Unless you are okay with hiring a head coach with little/no D1 head coaching experience, or hiring a head coach that is in little to no demand. Can you give me an example of a potential good hire, from either the Devries hiring cycle or a future possibility, that would not require a substantial buyout? If you cannot, it's just wishful thinking and not grounded in reality.
  8. Beat Rutger! Yes. We. Can. And we will!!!!!!!!
  9. What an incredibly fantastic post. Not merely true, but also a summary perspective that doesn't get detalied with this clarity often or well. Kudos.
  10. I’ve got something that’ll make you feel much better:
  11. Conerway sick, injured, or completely in the doghouse? I’m thinking sick because he started but barely played.
  12. IU football has liberated me! Bad basketball just doesn’t bother me anymore. Good basketball would simply be an amazing bonus, but it’s not necessary.
  13. I’m thinking this is the next guy that cracks the code:
  14. lil Wayne all in on the Hoosiers:
  15. That’s gonna be a very high mod alert day indeedily doodley!
  16. Every game is a great Ponds game.
  17. Cig at the day after presser with Fernando, Coogan, Aiden, and Mikhail. Cig starts by stating that one of the players on the podium still hasn't gone to bed. It's clearly not Kamara - he looks bright eyed and clear headed. Coogan sounds pretty messed up. Fisher has barely spoken and Fernando is a less ebullient Fernando that I've ever seen him. I'm going with Coogan - really rough voice and he's wearing a hat to cover the aching stanky head.
  18. This 1,000,000%. The targeting hit on Mendoza was a definite miss. Other than that? Of course there were missed calls that were to IU's detriment. And if you were watching the game with U Miami eyes there were missed calls that were to Miami's detriment. The game is so fast and there is so much happenning on every play. The refs were just fine.
  19. Oh! Then Zen Michalski. I assume he had a solid NIL package and he just did not work out - when Benson sucked Michalski couldn't beat out Ajani for the backup job.
  20. Makhai Frazier this past week I believe.
  21. USF is not nearby to the Mendoza family at all. A short plane ride once you're in the air, but to do that you've gotta deal with the abomination that is Miami International. More realistic? Coral Gables to Tampa/USF is about a 4.5 hour drive, but only if you time it to avoid Miami traffic..
  22. The fact that the staff thinks enough of Tyler Cherry to make him a quasi-grad assistant during his rehab year makes me think that the staff thinks that Tyler Cherry could be worthy of consideration as the #2 QB. We will find out on September 5, 2026, in the second half of our next game.
