Best Win of the Season This team has roster deficiencies, but heart and guts are on full display. Special kudos to Bailey, who is drastically improving during the B1G season; no small task. Special kudos to Tucker, who now contributes to winning when he doesn’t score. And? A Star Is Dorn!

Love the way this team competes. Serious gaps in needed skills, but strong between the ears and in their hearts.

We also need to compete like hell and count on them eventually losing some focus so that we get better looks.

Mick Cronin teams really get in your face defensively. That’s a problem without Conerway. They’re daring us to drive and we got none of that. Bailey needs to have a night.

The offense has more movement with Bailey these days. Better screener, better passer from the high post.

Coupled with all of our best current players except Czieski ar sophomores/frosh. Moren says she hasn’t forgotten how to coach. Well she’s gonna have a stacked roster to help her remember.

Making the tournament is still absolutely well in play if we lose both west coast games. If we can win one out of two? Our tournament chances get a real boost. Not an expected win in either game, but if we got one today against the tougher of the two opponents it would be fantastic.

Yes. Every team from the big four pro leagues and high profile collegiate champions does. Your mod team is standing by to insure that the occasion is fully recognized, but without political commentary! I consider it the ULTIMATE MOD CHALLENGE. :)

Seven or eight; we have about the same chance of beating MSU at home as Minny has of beating us, for instance.

You make this point every season, you are always 100% spot-on when you make it, and still people assess the situation differently. It must take great self-control not to type "pay attention--this is reality!" And that reality is: the one thing that is all but certain is that things will not go as expected for pretty much any bubble team. We may win at Purdue and MSU, and dump the home game against Oregon for all I know. Probably not? Sure. But when a team has 10-12 games left to build their resume, the odds are overwhelming that it'll win a 40/60 game or two, and lose a 60/40 game or two.

The next two are tourney teams and on the road. Split the two and it is 100% a net positive.

FWIW, Lunardi (i know, i know) has us as the 11th B1G team in, and the 68th (last team) to get in the field currently. That's about as straight-up coin flippy as it gets.

Contract was extended through 28/29 but looks like the buyout is fairly low.

As a team, they are averaging 15 turnovers and 10 assists per game. And that includes all those early season easier games. For the B1G it’s even worse. Brutal
