IUBB @ O$U - Saturday, 03.07.26 @ 5:30 on Fox-TV

Bynum and Tilly are big, physical, and do a ton of dirty work. For an undersized IU team that is a problem. Our guys truly focus on keeping opponents off of the offensive glass, but against some teams it’s physically really difficult. OSU will likely be one of those teams. -

Kind of like the terrible referee crew. If we can’t win a fair fight, we need to have a wild card that could screw up Ohio State. -

Don’t love this matchup or our odds today. Hope I’m wrong but they have a few active bigs, it’s Thornton’s last game, and that team peaking is a bad combination. It’d be a pretty darn good win, but I’m expecting us to be kind of overmatched in this one. -
Didn’t realize that Kaleb Banks has fallen on such hard times at DePaul. Started the first ten games of this season, but is now a single digit minutes guy and is only playing 16.1 mpg for the season for a bad DePaul team.

All, The mods and IU41 now have a cell phone text chat group. When we have tech issues, we communicate in that text group, IU41 puts in a ticket with the web host, and the problem is resolved as soon as they address it. So, be assured that we have a plan and a process in place.

As crazy as it is that Logan Duncomb has 20 points and 11 rebounds in this game, it is far crazier that he has done this coming off of the bench in 16 minutes

What is potentially missing from your assessment of Haralson? He is still an 18 year old, and has been asked to do way more than he should by a bad coaching staff. He is a smart, high-culture kid who is represented by his parents, not a professional agent. He is very, very talented, but needs a system and scheme where he can flourish, and that's not ND. -
Mahomes is only 30 years old. One of the all time greats in his prime.

Could say the same about playing Caffey immediately, versus Bargesser staying. I am very happy that we played those freshmen, because they both appear to be completely worth the early investment in their futures at IU. -

Jasai Miles and Nick Dorn took my damn minutes by playing so well! But Trent will be a featured Hoosier plenty of times over the next three years. Good stuff. -

Diebler, "Guys ... whatever you do, never leave Wilkerson, Dorn or Devries when the ball goes into Alexis in the post!" -
(2027) ATH Monsanna "Suki" Torbert Jr. to INDIANA

To me, that is a pretty likely sign that his representatives are pro-actively letting schools know that he is still open to non-IU options. -

I am a complete SamFan... however... He feasted on Minnesota in real part because their only true defensive big Johnson was out. So Sam was guarded by Grayson Grove, a 6'9" freshman. OSU for instance, starts Christoph Tilly, a 7'0", 240lb 23 year old at center. Feeding Sam in the post against Tilly will usually result in killing five seconds off of the shot clock and Sam passing it back out of the post. -

I know I'm speaking with local bias, but if either Jalen Haralson or Tre Singleton have interest in IU, we should be 100% interested. Both have had outstanding freshman seasons and will only get better. Both are athletic and have defensive length for their positions, and both should be able to step out to the perimeter as their games mature. -
Both Ben McCollum and Darian Devries brought one key player with them for their first year this year. Devries brought his son, who is an above average, skilled college player. McCollum brought Stirtz, who is an experienced college player and a likely NBA lotto pick. That is in no way a criticism of McCollum; having an outstanding relationship with Stirtz was McCollum's doing. Iowa is 20-10, IU is 18-12; different but not markedly different. IU now runs an offensive scheme that I really like; Iowa runs a slower, to me less creative and effective offense. If I could turn back time? I wish IU would have fired Woody and hired Dusty May a year earlier; he was there for the having and it's pretty much consensus that he was the perfect hire. But McCollum vs. Devries? At this point (subject to hindsight later on) I'll take Devries.

Well yes. As someone with some experience with finance and someone who is married to a professional financial advisor, annuities are not it.

Your quick Dusty May anecdote is more proof why Dusty next-level 'gets it'. I believe that all IU teams get financial literacy training; @Hovadipo can confirm. They can't ever get enough of that training - hopefully it is regularly reinforced.

This season has been fine/solid/good enough: First year of a new coach sitting at 18-12. Bubble tournament team - currently 50-60% likely to get in. A bunch of very likable players - Sam Alexis, Enright, Lamar especially for me. Incoming recruiting class for next year is already strong. Finally playing modern offense. First time in eight years for that. Much of the program buzz is gone because for decades we have been a middling program, we aren't exceeding expectations, and because the fan base is understandably much more into our undefeated national championship football team. But overall? This is better than the past two years of Woodson and pretty much all of the Archie era.

A shame that the Wildcats couldn’t beat them. Puredon’t didn’t really look very excited when the left the court.
