I disagree, I feel like he has been one of the best players on the court consistently all season.   Look at the Box Score & I look like a total fool! Look at any stats and I look so very wrong.... but if the eye test means anything he has been the best player on the floor. Constant hustle, constant defense (he may not have the best tools but for those saying defense is all about wanting a stop and effort I feel he gives 100% every possession), rebound position, diving for loose balls, shooting and decisions with the ball (he is not the one dribbling the air out of it every possession - he gets it and immediately moves it or shoots it.)

Part of his epiphany after D Davis/ Holt incident... Stop looking at negativity. Wife told him the family was ok... Blah blah blah

After getting a little farther into the thread I think I have decided I don't want to know what the heck was going on.

All this talk about sending something makes me want to know what I missed that was so funny

"PURDUE DOMINATES..." That is the headline on ESPN....   I don't know if I should laugh as they only scored 61 points.... Or be worried that they only allowed 39....   ODU is a top 100 team (90th) and is supposed to be challenged offensively and good/decent on defense but still!

I agree with points 1 & 2....   On point #3 it all comes down to path... in 12-13 we struggled against a zone (more specifically a Syracuse style zone) and we fell right on that path... this year if we end up struggling against bigger teams (although I actually think we will hold our own very well against them), we could be in a situation in which we play no bigger teams on our entire tourney path.   To me this is a very tough buy or sell because at the beginning of the 12-13 season I would have said that team for sure, however knowing where that team ended up I want to hope this team exceeds that. Also the wording of better built for the NCAAT.... I like the depth of this team more, if not for a few late season injuries that team could have went farther, if this team has a few we could potentially overcome (depending on who - Not Bryant, and prolly not Yogi).   Overall I say we are better built this year, hopefully it plays out that way.

Watched the game last night on replay and I thought we looked very good. Even when we gave up the 23 point lead you never felt the team was out of control, never thought the game was getting away from them. That to me is a huge change from last year. They seemed poised and they responded accordingly...
