IU Women's Golf East-West Match Play Championship Sep. 20-22

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's golf team will take a brief break from the regular stroke play tournament format to take part in the East-West Match Play Challenge this week in Madison, Wisconsin, at University Ridge Golf Course.
 
The format mimics the format of the NCAA Championship, with the teams played 36 holes of stroke play to determine seeding. Then the teams play two days of match play to determine the tournament winner.
 
On Sunday, the teams will start the stroke play portion at 10:00 a.m. ET and play 36 continuous holes. Then Monday and Tuesday will feature tee times off No. 1 and No. 10. -Iuhoosiers.com
