Jordan Woolums beat her defender and got to the endline before serving the ball into the box. Her pass deflected off a GSU defender and went into the goal for an own goal, cutting the Georgia Southern lead to 2-1.

 

For the game, Indiana had a 8-6 edge in shots while IU goalkeepers did not make a save in the game. The Hoosiers also led in corner kicks by a wide margin, 7-3, with six of those coming in the first half.
