OT-Twitter Decorum

2-3 weeks ago there was a Gator fan who messaged Robinson and said good luck at Indiana... We think you are great, best wishes,etc....and Robinson wrote back quickly about not that not being correct. Gator fan replied...oh...that's just what I heard. Glad we still have a chance...blah, blah, blah

 

Come to find out this particular Gator fan does that with every recruit.

 

My question is this though. Is it fair to ask a recruit (DRobb) a simple question like...Why in the world would you choose a football school to play hoops at? Or for JB Jr....Why did you string IU along if you had zero intentions of sticking with us?

 

I have decided against asking these questions personally. But wondered what others felt? Figure this  might be a good time with 3 announcements in the next 32 hours that won't go IU's way.

I honestly don't think asking any questions of recruits is a good idea. 99% of the time the question won't be answered and if it is, it won't be truthful. Recruits on Twitter are just trying to build their brand/ following. That's all it is.

If Twitter didn't exist, kids wouldn't be announcing their announcement date to cut from 25 to 24 schools

I think if you put yourself in a public forum such as Twitter, than any respectable question is fair game. No one is forcing the recruit to use twitter nor are they forced to answer any question.

Funny to watch the # of followers on DR's account drop by the hour. Oh well...on to the next level of disappointment with 2014 recruiting.

No doubt. I want to tweet him and say what in the world did you think was going to happen? All 19 Florida basketball fans can't even name their starting lineup from last year.
