[Class of '66 Old Fart]

Sam Kayser with a tweet earlier today that we were one of the schools that had offered Bowman.  An IU offer now appears on the 247 and On3 sites so we apparently did indeed extend an offer although there's been nothing from the usual sources.  He is the son of NaVorro Bowman, Sr., a former NFL linebacker and who was recently a member of the Chargers coaching staff.  He resigned that position at the end of the season to spend more time with his family.

Junior is listed as a 6'3" PG and has a 4-star rating by both 247 and On3.  He attends Notre Dame HS in Sherman Oaks, CA and plays AAU on the EYBL circuit for Team Why Not.  He was a key member of the the USA gold medal winning U17 FIBA squad.
