Parker is one of our recruiting priorities in the '27 class and was in Bloomington for our 12/27 game vs. Minny.  For 11 gms., she's averaging 21.5 ppg.  MaxPreps stats for 9 games:  11.4r,  1.4a,  .4s,  .7b        46% FG,  36% on 3s,  81% FT  Her team is ranked #1 in the 5A class.

For whatever reason, her game stats haven't been updated on MaxPreps since Dec. 18, so what I have since then is from random sources or games I've watched.  15-games averaging 21.2ppg.  12-game averages:  10.5r,  1.3a,  .4s,  1.0b  Her team is 10-6 on the season.

It's reported she's a priority target and was on campus on Dec. 27.  She's listed at 6'3" and there's simply no way you can politely describe a girl's physical build so I'll just say she's not a beanpole and she's not an Audie Crooks.  Couple of things that stand out to me.  First, don't throw her any passes that she has to reach down for.  Second, she needs Burgess Meredith making her chase chickens in an alley to improve her lateral quickness and overall agility.

River Ridge (16-6) 55-46 win over Pope (10-12).  Parker 22p,  7r,  0a,  1s,  0b,  2t.  I've now watched at least 3 of her games and to my untrained eye I see the same things in each game.  She has trouble finishing at the rim.  She has trouble hanging on to the ball and catching passes securely or grabbing rebounds cleanly and opponents frequently knock the ball out of her hands.  Maybe this is a contributing factor to what I see as difficulty finishing at the rim.

Finley's season ended tonight in a 57-50 overtime loss to Creekview in a 5A state semifinal game.  She had not played in the 3 previous games and started tonight with a heavy duty sleeve on her right knee but discarded it at halftime.  Creekview did a really good job of denying her the ball inside and forced her teammates to launch an untold number of 3s.  Georgia uses a shot clock.  For this game, Finley finished with 11p, 13r, 4s, 2b, 4t.

For 27 games per MaxPreps:  19.9p,  9.4r,  1.3a,  .5s,  1.2b     43% FG,  30% on 3s,  75% FT.
