Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 13 Author Posted January 13 Paywalled recruiting update from Dushawn London indicates we're still in the hunt. She's quoted as commenting on our consistency in calling and texting her. Other schools mentioned: Duke, UNC, ND, MD and TCU. Hopes to make a decision around September. She's ranked in the top 15 by the 3 major services. Unfortunately, she's among the group of IUWBB offers that I simply can't find any sources for how her season at Friends Central is going. MaxPreps reports their season record at 15-3 but individual stats are not posted. And, none of her games have been streamed on NFHS. She played her freshman year at William Penn Charter and transferred to Archbishop Wood for her sophomore year. This is from a June '25 article: "... she dominated Philadelphia Catholic League matchups, averaging 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists in league games, leading the Vikings to a 10-1 record. For the season, she led the team in scoring, contributing 18 points per game, along with 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2 steals. To put those stats in perspective, Carter was often on the bench by the fourth, or even third, quarter of the Vikings’ numerous blowout wins." She was named the PA Sportswriters All-State Class 5A Player of the Year. She subsequently transferred to Friends Central HS in Wynnewood, PA for the current season. 247 On3 Quote
