That's around 1 mil for a combo guard off the bench that can fill it up. Probably a mid major. I think Kavala will be a rotation piece, scared a bit of the durability of Burton in the Big Ten.

You could see this two years ago with the last of the covid kids inflating the availability at the 5 and the point. Development at those two positions moving forward was important. We've not started that yet. I think for an 8 man rotation to compete in the top 5 we can expect to drop 15 mil.

That would a great start. I'd like to go two bigs though. With a third off the bench. I don't expect to win the Big Ten but top 5 isn't too much to ask considering the tone of the fanbase is pretty understanding right now after a disastrous year one build. Clark and the Carrs have the connections to put a winning 8 man rotation together.

One year in D1 l, conference USA, from Canada. Averaged 0.3 offensive rebounds per game at 6'8 225. This is the type of player the resembles last years roster. Personally it makes me angry. Lol....I mean wtf?

I really like Boswell at the 2 as well. Hes a physical defender that can do a bit of everything. im cautiously optimistic. I think DD and staff are aware of the temperature and understand the importance. I remember Dolson making the point during last years presser that DD had experience with quick turnarounds and roster building. Add Carr #1 to specifically concentrate on talent acquisition and one would have to believe a repeat of roster one will be unacceptable. There should be 3 or 4 major acquisitions before the name Sam Orme gets brought up.

I'm not convinced Dusty would've taken the job under the circumstances. It would've been pretty nasty firing Woody after 3 years and the toxicity in administration. It may have hindered the support necessary to build the year one roster. A lot of unknowns. Yaxel was a lot of money. However, it would've been nice to have that team last night, in Hoosier uniforms with Mullins and others we missed on in the rotation. How would you like to be Cronin watching Mara dominate Arizona?

Is Vaakes the best power 4 shooter in the portal? Will the offense need to adjust due to lack of Wilkersons?

I would think by this time next week who's staying should be sorted out. We need minimum 4 starters. I think that was the problem this year, our team was made up of 5th options. Dorn or Trent could thrive in the 5th option role. I just wonder how much DD will alter the offense to fit talent.
