I think the volume 3 big wing is the difference between 6th in the Big Ten and in the hunt down the stretch. Mostly because of my hesitancy to totally trust Coach's ability to come out of his offensive comfort zone. If we play 4 out for 20 minutes running a lot of last years stuff I don't know he THE GUY will be.

Yes, that would be funny. But what we don't have is an impact wing. We have a group made up of promising but not ready and "hope they're better with us." I was being wishful and pretty specific with hopes for an impact player. He would push one of Mustaf or Harris to 6th man. Someone's going to throw a bundle at him. Why not us.

I think we're still keeping some powder dry for a potential starter. We have a roster and a style to promote. We have money for that type of add. There are several bargain bigs left ot there.

I love our fanbase. Lol I think there will be games that our two bigs play over 30 minutes. If we're a good team. (Top 20, better than 6th in conference) there should plenty of mop up minutes for a third big, to include injury/foul trouble. If Sherrell does average over 30 minutes it means he's under 250 and in great shape. I hope Burton can complete a season playing around 33 minutes a night.

Absolutely I think there is hope that Harris is the scoring wing with renewed confidence. He's capable of shooting in the high 30's in high volume from deep. It will allow Coach to continue to run alot of the stuff he's more comfortable with. Sisley is going to be a glue guy small ball 4 and should excel in that role. Mustaf as a versatile defender that can keep the defense honest seems like a good plan for him. Burton changes everything if healthy. There's a world where we're a top 4 team in the Big and another where we creep into the tournament 11-9.

I think someone of size will be added. I'm not so sure they'll be expected to play much and we probably won't be overly excited. I do still hold out hope for a starting caliber wing shooter that would push the ones we have a notch down the bench. Let the combine get closer.

Obviously high major schools see something that I'm not. One year of D1 basketball at a mid-major. Is he a Canadian legend? I'd take the guy from Irvine unless there's a Euro shocker.

I disagree with many of these rankings but Somto is unmanageable and Allen Graves is top 5.

I think we're a top 4 Big Ten team as is if: Coach has the playbookk to match the skillset of the team. Burton stays healthy Harris is similar to the player he was expected to be out of high school. One of the freshmen is ahead of the curve and contributes when we go 4-out. We should be pretty competitive at the top of the conference. Michigan will still be tough and if Illinois figures out the point???? After that it's wide open. I think 14 conference wins is doable.

I think Trent and Mustaf are the 4 as it stands in a 4 out offense, which I still think we'll get plenty of. I don't think we're done yet in that area roster wise though. Wishful thinking maybe. We have so many wings that can play right now and not a lot separates them. Mustaf is more suited for that than Trent I believe. I wish we had a killer that could knock down 40% from 3 in high volume as a 3/4. Im hoping DD has it worked out and Yigi Sherrell can play together effectively 20+ minutes, no examples in his career of that.

He would've started for us this year. Leading shot blocker in the country. He's a 20 mpg guy.

Kyle Evans has impressive numbers. 2.4 offensive rebounds and 3.3 blocks in 28 minutes. 8 shots a game 62%, 77% ft shooter. I'll have to watch some video in a bit.

I think it would feel like wearing worn out shoes with a new suit. Last year felt thrown together and random. This year feels calculated and serious. I appreciate those players, however....
