  1. I'd take a Mandeville. The senior version.
  2. Two years ago when we started doing this I'd jot down Fr and so. that were people I thought would be good fits assuming that some amount of them would be available. I've kept doing it especially post covid with bigs and pgs. Baba has been on all of lists but always as a 3rd big in a 2 big offense. He's a great athlete, but a very situational body type for the big ten. I think he will struggle to get a waiver. He could come in and provide rim protection and get up and down the floor for us. I even Thought Pryor from Louisville if he could give us a full year. Still thinking we're trying to elbow our way into the high end euro market. More like wishful thinking. Haven't heard a peep about Suigo.
  3. Baba is in, looking for a waiver. That would be exceptional in 3 man 80 minute big rotation.
  4. Drew Fielder would be a nice stretch big add. I would still like Khamenia. Oddly both are trending toward UCONN.
  5. This other versatile larger person we could use. Will we have him when I get back from the bathroom.
  6. Man, I fell asleep, and Bryce Lindsey? Is someone making a statement " No mid-majors! " seems like it.
  7. I think we have one more up our sleeve that could push Harris or Mustaf to 6th man. If we don't and fill out the roster smartly, We still have to be pre-season top 25. Someone that can give us 15mpg at point is point of emphasis. A combo guy, which I think someone mentioned. Brumbaugh fits that description. Dude shot 7.3 fts a game, he can get down hill. Mikka would be the icing on the cake right now. He can play the 4 and some 3.
  8. I think Carr has another shocker in him. Anyone remember who reported the Sherrell offer on here a week before the portal opened?
  9. Well,,, Bummer, but you are correct sir. Brumbaugh Scharnowski Hall
  10. My driverside canine tooth was still a baby tooth and I'm 55. I just had it pulled about the time he committed. Son of a B. Getting a good big was literally like pull teeth for me. OK, Leave 13 open Luigi Suigo Khamenia Stink Robinson
  11. Thank you Chris, I'm in the dentist office. I'm in my feelings a little.
  12. Was Samet our pivot away from Sherrell? Feels like we are in a bidding war maybe. Is MSU back in?
  13. Good morning my friends. Today the talking heads of the internet are all going to have to eat a big giant bag of D"s. We're shaking up the world of college basketball. Because we deserve this. We've been through hell for too long. We've fought amongst ourselves We've tolerated administrative malfeasance, we've been tortured by stupidity. C'mon Aiden. Bring it all together. Preferably before me dentist appointment.
  14. Where our GM has an advantage is being able to map the agencies that rep these guys and contact them at any time. It's legal tampering. I would say Coach's familiarity with that part of it was lacking. In the end Coach has to close the deal. So it probably looks a little bit like an NFL war room somewhere in that building. I'm not so sure he's in the trenches much though. Nor should he be.
  15. Watching The Turkish Towers highlights. From his frosh to soph year a nice jump. He keeps it simple. A surprisingly good feel for the game. He knows how to set up early, get behind his man and drive him up the lane for position. Soft baby hook with the right. The counter back to the left looks slow and deliberate. He runs the floor well for 7'2 270. He tries to jam everything. Has some nasty to him. Good day in the portal. It's what we deserve.
  16. You're both right. He knew he was f'd 2 weeks into the job and got what he could. He did begin talks with GM Carr not long after that. So I have to respect him knowing he would need help with a level of talent he was unaccustomed to. Then he squeezed 9 conference wins out of that dumpster fire. That's the worst roster we've had since Jordan Hulls was a sophomore. 20 years? I appreciate the effort Tucker gave that last 5 games. He did all he could do. Sherrell, Reibe, Khamenia, and a back-up point. I feel it.
  17. Dylan Darlin would make an interesting backup pg.
  18. I'd be on board, but how does he have eligibility left?
  19. Who's left, I'm a Khamenia guy, not saying he's premium. Still need the reliable back up pg. AND for Sherrell to hurry tfu. Damn,,,,3.6 offensive rebounds per game in under 30 minutes....damn.
  20. 3.6 of his 7.9 are offensive....in 28 minutes per game. Sherrel is still crucial. If Sherrel still pulls the trigger we just bought a helluva starting line-up for big ten play. Maybe we're not done. Did Carr have 20 million????? F it, I'll take Reibe, Khamenia, Budd Clark and Jake Hall to put us 13. Again, if Sherrel is still on board, what's happening here? I didn't expect this.....
  21. Does Carr have the juice to still get Reibe? Two guys 7"+. Hey,,,,,this guy averaged 7.9 rebounds,,, that's OK for a monster, but of that, 3.6 of them were offensive. I pulled off the road and started to cry. Now wtf Aiden.. ...????
  22. I'll offially stfu about offensive rebounding now. This is what I was looking for.
  23. Where that f did that come from? Lol I'm envisioning DD calling Carr at a restaurant and saying "We need a true center in order to sign Sherrell." OK, here you.....
  24. I'm rooting for him. He has all the tools. Whatever combination of 4/5 can give me 25ppg 16rpg with 1/4 ratio of offensive to defensive rebounds I'm on board with. The stuff Coach runs will be what decides if it looks clunky. I expect premium defense 12 feet and in out of these unnamed players as well. The 3rd big just has to be versatile and capable of 15-20 inspired minutes off the bench. Even with two bigs starting, I still expect 15min of one big lineups on the floor. Especially if we get serious about someone like Khamenia.
