  1. Johnson, Leal, Cupps, and Gunn are going to need to step up without Galloway. They are all capable. We just need them to do it.
  2. That's one way to look at it or you could say that we were -16 without Galloway on the floor.
  3. Should we start the Matt Painter to Louisville rumors? :)
  4. Dolson only needs to ask himself one question. Is any school going to try and steal Mike Woodson away from us? Obviously, the answer is no.
  5. KU's small forward Furphy is now a 1st round pick. Liam will slide into his starting role next year.
  6. Sorry, if it's been reported, but Lamont Paris received an extension from South Carolina.
  7. So, Jamie Dixon would be a no.
  8. For a man his age, I'm impressed his beard doesn't have any grey.
  9. Yes, we are going to win. Ware is playing extremely well on both ends. Fewer fouls called in tournament play, so Ware shouldn't get into foul trouble. With Ware on the floor, our defense can stop PSU at the rim. No way they shoot the lights out from three against us again.
  10. If IU misses the NCAA Tourney, I think it would be hilarious if Nevada made the Elite Eight. Heads would explode.
  11. Root to win and the let everything else play out.
  12. Could the Dusty talk derail FAU's season?
  13. I think I'm going to be ill. I can see it now, 4 years from now when Ohio state is really good, people are going to ask why IU didn't hire Dusty from FAU. I'm going to have to utter some nonsense about it was important to give mediocre Mike a 4th year because Mike's wealthy friends were adamant that Mike get a chance to prove he can coach even though we knew the answer was that he couldn't.
  14. I would love for us to play some zone 3 to 4 possessions a game. I believe it was after the Penn State game we adjusted, and we are using our big men to hedge on high pick and rolls. This should slow down Baldwin some.
  15. Maybe the Big Ten basketball should split into three divisions next year based on NIL dollars spent. The six top spending teams would be one division, then the middle 6, then the bottom 6 NIL spenders. You would play a true round robin within your division and then play 8 games against the other Big Ten teams. This would reward teams on coaching and player development and just not your ability to buy players. It'll never happen, but it would be fairer.
  16. Apologies if this has been posted, but I thought it was relevant since we have complained about our lack of three-point shooting all year. Bill Self after KU lost last night. Good coaches get it. “The bottom line is, we need to be able to make six or seven threes,” Self said, via Winton. “When you get outscored 15 to 30 points every game from beyond the arc, that’s a lot of twos, you just don’t have enough opportunities to make those up.”
  17. Seems odd with legalized gambling that accurate injury reporting isn't required.
  18. So true. The expectations have been set so low for our program. It saddened me that people were satisfied when our last 2 seasons ended in blowout losses to St Mary's and Miami. We have a talented roster again this year and so called "true fans" are willing to accept every excuse given for our poor record and inability to beat any good teams.
  19. Would we move on from Woodson if Reneau and MgBako leave, even though they were offered top dollar by IU NIL? Would losing Ware, Reneau, MgBako, and McNeeley be enough for Dolson to pull the plug?
  20. Exhibit 1 in the case against Mike Woodson. :)
  21. That's a solid hire for Depaul.
  22. Cronin seems like a great fit. Cronin has a huge buyout, but UCLA may be willing to negotiate that. Rumor is that many aren't happy with Cronin at UCLA. I wonder since they are both Adidas schools that Adidas could help make it happen.
  23. Thank you for replying even though I find the answer disheartening.
