The FCS has it set up where, out of the 13 conferences, 11 of them (yes, the Ivy League is now one of them this season) gets auto bids with the MEAC and SWAC doing their own bowl championship game instead and the rest are at-large. Yeah, 8-10 of those come from the Big Sky and Missouri Valley, but those conferences are pretty tough so you can argue they earned it. The Big Ten system is just nonsense.

I've been telling myself all offseason that 8-4 is the safe choice. I doubt we'll repeat the CFP appearance, but we'll definitely make a run for a New Year's Six Bowl, and who knows? We'll finally get that win.

Purists may not have liked the idea of a mascot but numerous restaurants in Bloomington would beg to differ.

1. It really illustrates the problem with using social media as a way to cover news, as some people can't discern legit grievances with trolling. Especially as you pointed out, the semester is over and frankly, sports are an afterthought at IU Indy as it is. 2. I think the Woodson reference is because they either confused IU Indy with Indiana, or they think Indiana University can just re-hire the coach for one of their satellite schools, especially as Woodson has made it clear he's going back to the NBA.

Because it's IU Indy, it's definitely going to be under the radar even locally, but the idea of a guy abusing his players should not be taken lightly. Based on my observations with the team, Corsaro seemed to play favorites, often refusing to put players in from the bench and making his starters play 30+ minutes. And that's during the games.

We would have done squat in the actual tournament, but honestly, Indiana no longer has the right to be better than the loser tournaments.

Honestly, they should have accepted a postseason invite. I don't get the idea that it's NCAA Tournament or Bust when the program hasn't reached the Final Four since 2002.
