With the portal opening the 24th, I think some teams are going to be seriously depleted, including IU if they don't make the tourney (which obviously I think they will). I wonder how that works?

As athletic as Oregon looked in comparison to IU today, I'm watching the Ole Miss vs Arkansas game. These players are a whole different level of athlete. It's just a reminder of whoever IU chooses as their next coach has to be able to recruit at a really high level. Woody might have had a large NIL warchest, but IU did not put a great athletic lineup on the floor from it.

I've always thought that if IU was going to get a true whale this cycle, Donovan made the most sense. If he was ready to return to college to finish his career, IU would be the perfect choice. He probably wants out of Chitown. It's just a matter of whether he wants to return to college. He would seem like a more realistic choice than a guy who has turned IU down multiple times and seems really happy in Boston. Just a thought...

But the process can't start until after the season ends. LOL

Who knew that those three years of German in high school would pay off just for this coaching search on BTB? LOL
