    I think Beard outside of Brad is one of the very few most would support. Others like Wade and Pearl aren’t happening. Drew and Lloyd would both probably be well received.

    Here’s a name that Bozich and Coyle have mentioned a couple times in pure speculation…Greg Gard. Is only 54 and we could easily double his salary. Has little NIL at WI so he could compete for titles at IU. Plays smart basketball that would be a hit here. I have no idea if he’d listen but locking up one of the top 15-20 coaches in college basketball for the next 12-15 years wouldn’t be a bad thing.

    Buckyball would be so fun to watch. And with his style and personality the recruits would line up to play for him especially with our NIL. But Samford to IU is going to be too big of a jump for Dolson to make.

    A big one. He’s old and may not be around much longer. Had one shot at a P5 job and he flopped miserably. His personality is a bad fit too.

    I doubt it too but he’s a perfect fit other than that one thing. If Beard was a choir boy I’d probably choose him over Brad if I was Dolson.

    I met Pearl as a kid a couple of times at USI. Amazing coach very cool dude. If Drew is too religious I can’t imagine IU hiring someone as vocal about his right wing politics as Pearl. Just my opinion.

    I’ll say this, if it’s anyone over age 55 it had better be a sure fire winner like a Pearl, Few, or Wright.
