Mike Davis wasn’t qualified to coach BSouth when hired. Sampson was great but couldn’t follow the rules. Crean was very weird and an average coach at best. Had 4 of the worst seasons in program history at Georgia before being fired. Is now completely unhireable. Archie…see the Tweet above. Woodson no comment needed. You really have to ask yourselves just how incompetent is the Indiana administration?

Drew. Young enough he can be the coach for a while. Great recruiter with Indiana ties. Has a national title so if it doesn’t go as planned no one can really blame Dolson. The ultimate safe hire.

He and his agent held all of the bargaining chips. UM had no idea if he was planning to take the IU job or not. You may be right but I fully believe he could’ve gotten more money from UM. A lot more probably.

The weird thing about that extension is that the buyout only went up to $7.5M which we could easily afford. Just seemed odd to me. You would think UM would’ve insisted on a buyout well into 8 figures. I don’t like to be conspiratorial but can we rule out the idea that Dolson thinks he has his guy and communicated that Dusty but also let him know that things can always fall through?

I’ve wondered about him. You know their NiL has to be crap. He’s getting up there but was the runner-up twice. It’s gotta be hard to get that close and never be able to close it. Maybe he knows his window at Gonzaga has closed and he wants to go for a title. I’d be fine with it if he’s committed to coaching another 8-10 years. He could have another dui though.

They sure have done an amazing job doing that the past 25 years. And hiring another Archie or Woody would be a million times worse for the University’s image than hiring Beard and him having a dui sometime in the future.

A guy on the Rivals board says Whitten nixed Dolson from hiring Beard. I highly doubt Dolson can hire whoever he wants.

My all time favorite is when I had to come out because she couldn't figure out why the garage door wouldn't shut. She hadn't pulled the car in fully and was completely blocking the sensors. Facepalm.

Glass went all in on Donovan in 2017. He couldn’t close the deal and then went out and hired the flavor of the month. That was 100% on Glass. Archie should’ve been vetted a lot more.

I don’t think we have a chance at Brad but I’m pretty confident that SS is just pulling **** from his @$$. If you know anything about him you know he’s an egomaniac. Goes by Coach Sam Story and posts basketball stuff all day yet I believe he never anything more than a girls lacrosse coach. Might have been just an assistant. Common sense says we aren’t getting Brad. I’d say it’s 90% certain. So he’s putting this out knowing he has no inside information and then when we don’t get Brad he can run to all the message boards and say see, see I told. No is more well connected regarding IU basketball than me. Never doubt me again. That is what he’s doing people but yes, he’s probably going to be right.

I think part of him probably really wants to get back into coaching and the IU job is probably a perfect fit. However, he’s getting paid millions of dollars for a cushy office job with very little pressure where he simply has to sit in an office all day, make phone calls, and go watch basketball games. He likely knows he might be happier here but at the same time what if it doesn’t go as planned. He could be making a big mistake. I think he’s just very comfortable where he’s at and that’s why he won’t do it.

Nonsense. She’d be the most popular student at BSouth day one. And she could stay in Bloomington and not have to move again in 2 years. If Brad really wanted the job that wouldn’t be a blip on the radar I assure you.
