Galloway is good. I wouldn't mind at all if he comes off the bench as it would be a good sign that the team is talented and has at least a bit of depth. You're crazy if you think he should be the 7-8th player. He would be the first off the bench and would give IU the best 6th man in the conference, probably by a good margin. Galloway has also been steadily improving season to season. No reason to think that doesn't happen again since he obviously puts in the work.

(2024) - CG Dylan Harper to Rutgers

I'd be shocked if we land him but I'm glad the staff is trying and apparently doing a good job of it. -
Did the proposal a few years ago to allow undrafted players to return to college (if they didn't hire an agent) ever pass? I don't think it did but I may have missed it.
-
Like when he was at Georgia.

The zero tolerance policy worked exactly as the the administration wanted it to. They wanted Knight gone but were too cowardly to outright fire him so they made that policy so they could claim that it was with cause.

Yes, the real "crime" at IU was IU not monitoring Sampson enough ton ensure he didn't do the same thing at IU as he did at OU and then Sampson's attempt to cover it up.

Incorrect. Kennesaw State is in Kennesaw which is right outside Atlanta. Google maps shows this is an 8.5 hour drive to Little Rock while Bloomington is 8 hours. Sure there's a chance he ends up at Kennesaw State but I'd put that chance as being so small it's 0% for all practical purposes.

EMU is literally Bates' home town university. Kennesaw State is in Georgia and Ware is from Arkansas.

Kennesaw State? Doubtful.

Ware is from Arkansas. Alabama isn't exactly close to there. Closer than Bloomington, sure, but not close. We're talking a 6 hour drive instead of 8 hours. I don't see that as being a factor. -
So it's a "silent verbal." Didn't Kaufman supposedly have a silent verbal commitment? Lol I'll wait for an official announcement. I love reading the message boards rumors but I treat them as just that.

Jamison Battle - Minnesota Transfer to Ohio State

It sounds like you're taking it personally. He's seen the campus and is likely at least somewhat familiar with the players. He listened to IU's pitch. Taking a visit doesn't really seem necessary for him to make an informed decision about what he thinks is best for himself. -

Good thing he has the whole off-season to improve. -
Under the previous coach, player development wasn't a thing. The only player I remember making a significant jump was Franklin and that wasn't because of Miller and company. There was an article about it and I don't remember if Miller's name ever even showed up in it. Most players stayed about the same or got worse. As far as recruiting services, I think COVID really messed up a few years. They're never 100% accurate but they seem to have more misses recently than usual. That is just my perception without numbers to back it up so that could well be wrong but it certainly seems so. The previous coach was also a pretty bad evaluator of talent. We've seen improvement in player development under Woodson, but I'm not yet convinced it's at the level it needs to be at yet. They do seem to be focusing more on players that work hard to improve (Cupps, JHS are 2 off the top of my head) so hopefully we get to the point where it's a team of gym rats that want to improve and win.
-
Ah, man. I was going to ask for one, too, but not at that price!
-
With the turnover they're having it's a bit optimistic to think those 2 players stay there 3 more years.
-
Miller's problem wasn't just getting it to work on the court. He was pretty bad at player evaluations. If you look at the all of players he recruited, even those he didn't land, there were lots of busts so it wasn't just that he didn't coach them well enough.

4th. But it looks like #1 in per game. -

Not just any red but crimson. Arkansas has a shade of red as their color too -
How convenient for you to cut off the rest of my statement where I address that. See bolded below. The head coach has to deal with personalities but assistance can concentrate on the Xs and Os. Get it?

Therein lies the rub. To make it far in the tournament we need to be able to compete against athletic teams like Miami. However, we also need to be able to win enough games in the B1G to not only make the tournament but to have a decent seed.

I'm pretty sure the AZ game was scheduled as a one time event, not a series like Kansas.

I'm thinking we're looking at him for defense because his offensive numbers aren't very impressive.
