  1. Think that’s right, think he came in with Malik and Race, but showed good inside positioning and timing, was right there to corral Race’s miss for his first bucket and then knocked down the FT, showed promise, confidence
  2. Agree, and it’s partly due to the spreading of the floor that JHS brought, different nights different shooters have stepped up, encouraging,, along with his all around dominant, focused play and leadership— this is both the TJD and team play we’ve all been waiting to see
  3. Yeah yeah but I was still right about this team being lost without both X and Race back…. Ok, pass the salt please
  4. He’s old and he sucks. just want you to feel better
  5. Malik or JG, not Race, seriously. How the staff can watch us excel up front and then immediately insert Race when he’s back, and do it again when he has poor offense and then again is beyond me. Too happy with the team’s resilience and another W to sweat it but it’s beyond clear he shouldn’t be starting now.
  6. Sure looks like Race is getting undue playing time
  7. No one should hold to be Arkansas :)
  8. Yeah doubt X plays but regardless a great sign
  9. Eventually, Wisc will melt :)
  10. Eventually, water finds its level. Wisc can go back to the cellar
  11. Needed one removing Woody. ;)
  12. My moms - a former asst to the IU pres - has been a die hard women’s bball fan and attended their games since they had like maybe 2000 attendance, she’s having the time of her life watching Moren grow this program into a contender and all around strong program from top to bottom, great to see
  13. He was actually pretty close :)
  14. Wholeheartedly agree. Gallo has bad games, everyone (including TJD) has bad games, but Gallo always hustles, and he almost always brings a defensive awareness and added playmaking. I'll take Gallo's bad, with the good, any day.
  15. He was bad in about 5 minutes. He's been excellent in multiple prior games now, and we've been winning with his contributions. You don't sit a guy the entire game for that, and I am fully confident Woodson wouldn't have.
  16. 1-4 and 2-4 from the line for 4 points, 4 boards, in 24 minutes. 3 blocks were good defensively. He was just bad offensively. Malik, 10 points on 4-5 and 2-2 from the line with a board and a block in 12 min -- and 0 TO's and 1 foul. JG, coming off the bench, got in only 5-6 min, 1 board, 1 assist, but 2 TOs and 2 fouls took him out. He's clearly shown over the past several games what he can bring.
  17. Did you watch the game? I don't mean that to be snarky at all, I'm just wondering how you could have that take if you watched. As about everyone else recognized, reflected in this thread, Race was clogging the lane, while contributing basically nothing offensively, and JG and Malik? JG played like 5 minutes in the first half only, and Malik, after playing extremely well in the first, sat all second half, while we continued to fail to score and look terrible offensively, and Race continued to do nothing offensively. He was in TJD's way. Sure, he defended decently, but we almost lost largely because of those terrible substitution decisions. We lose that game, with those lineup decisions, against any other team in the B1G.
