You may not care about the AP Top 25, but it builds a perception more than the NET. Recruits don’t go searching for NET rankings. They see what’s on TV and what shows more than anything? Whether you have a number or no number next to your name on the scoreboard. Being in the Top 25 important. It’s a good look. The Big Ten said mostly in the 10-25 range. It’s a good place to start out for a team that hasn’t been in the Top 25 since the week of January 14th, 2019. I think I’ve posted on here before how we’ve really struggled to get back to getting into the AP Top 25 over the course of Archie’s tenure and the end of Creans last season. I’m not he or Smith leave. But I’m not going to be upset they leave. Anderson, should if he ever wants playing time. Al was a featured part of the offense. He really just needs to be a spot up shooter and play better defense. A lot of people bash Smith for his ball handling yet didn’t give the same amount of criticism to Durham. Some of the blame is on Archie too because his offensive system is atrocious at best. But if Al can figure out that he NEEDS TO SHOOT THE BALL, then we might be in a better place. If he’s playing the 24 minutes a game I’d expect, he needs to be shooting 5-8 3’s during a game. Not 3. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

If things stick as they are, it’ll be interesting to see what Archie does. Because we will have Lander and Phinisee to play PG but I imagine we will see them play together some. Then Durham, Leal and Franklin. And I believe Leal will be better as a freshman than Franklin was. But then we have Smith and Hunter at the 3. Or will Smith play the 4 again? Will Hunter make strides this summer? Would there be a way to find a couple minutes to play Durham at 3? We Archie start Race or Brunk at the 4? Or Smith with Hunter or Durham at the 3? Just an old guy on Twitter that acts like paparazzi for Indiana basketball. Taking pics of recruits when out with Archie. Players going into Cook Hall. I think it’s weird. He blocked me because I called him for following people around, especially recruits since they are high school kids. It’s not just a coincidence to be in the parking lot by Cook Hall and there be a recruit there so you just take pictures to post on Twitter... it’s just weird and you’re like 50. Never suggested he should leave. Just that his role will diminish. He will be featured less, which is a good thing. People should see it as a positive. The guy who has had to play outside his role might finally get to play within his role more. How is that a bad thing? Sacrifices are going to have to be made.
