    So if burton and sherrell are done deals what do you do with the other 7 million. If you want legit top players you might have to get another 3 million dollar guy and hope and pray they stay healthy. I guess you then have 4 million for the rest

    I think we just saw what it takes to win a title and its big time athletes now i am sure coaching is involved but man you need these athletes

    My uncle was at the game and sent me a photo of kent benson at halftime. At least he did not send me a photo of quinn I would have had to tell him I can never talk to him again. LOL.

    I suppose but why would he go to the nba honestly. I suppose its more money but when you are already making 5 million and soon to be more does it even matter at that point.

    There is zero doubt dusty will control the big ten or be top two or three every year. The athletes and talent on this team were crazy and now that he won it all the top players will want michigan. Unless he leaves he will be around the next 15 years probably.

    The legend of McCollum grows in Iowa City with each win, but if you look at the man's history no one should be surprised. He won four D2 championships at Northwest Missoiuri State and had a 31-win season in his only year with Drake. The guy just wins, especially when a tournament is involved.

    One thing IU has always has been good at is being late to the game on coaching hires or making the wrong ones. Maybe dd works out who knows but Iowa so far makes google me I win look pretty solid.

    I have a hard time seeing purdue winning that game but we shall see.

    Maybe he can get it going in year two who knows but the examples of coach k are dumb that was pre nil.

    We have not been to a final 8 in 24 years so if it is his ceiling its still a better ceileng than we have had for a very long time.

    Having a gm can help i guess but dont most programs have one now? At the the end of the day it will come down to money unless our gm can go moneyball stuff.
