I watched him play this year at noblesville. Physical freak but played like a baby giraffe trying to learn to walk. No doubt he’ll show vast improvement this year and by his junior year should be a stud. Very undisciplined right now but that’s expected from a frosh. My daughter and AF are friends over social media. He told her that after one of the games this year during the player presser TJD kept pulling his leg hair under the table (or vice versa) to put him in tilt. I think these antics happen all the time but it shows that they are a pretty tight knit bunch when they go on. Really nice to see after the perceived attitude from last years squad. I have been to some rocking games in the hall. Loudest ever I attended was the OSU game when we were both ranked in the top 5 in 92 or when the Big Dog decided to hang on the rim after a dunk and got tossed with his 2nd T. Listening to the TV last night it sounded like it rivaled that atmosphere. Awesome to have a big time recruit for us experience the atmosphere at its absolute best. I would say that he probably wouldn’t based solely on Archie’s relationship with Calipari. A phone call would probably happen and Cal would give Archie the skinny from his perspective and Archie would likely take a hard pass based on Cal’s comments. I feel like the tournament is definitely within our grasp. 14-4 including a road win in the B1G, which is rarer than hens teeth. We have eight winnable regular season games left, IMO. If we can split those or even win 5/8, we’ll be looking pretty good going into the B1G tournament. I’ll leave the punditry to UPSP, however.
